I think the mayo issue is with the sell point. I am using it on a save but selling at a Market Stall (Yard Production Mod). It is $13-15K per 1000l on Normal. Much more realistic considering the inputs.
If they were playing on Hard economy, the price for mayonnaise would be around 15k to 16k instead of 30k on normal economy, which I believe is a more balanced price. I suggest they switch to Hard economy mode to avoid making excessive money from mayonnaise and to keep it more challenging.
Sell the sell point and use the auto sell for mayo. Half the cost. And yes maybe just use olive oil for mayo. And sell the other oil. Or edit the sell point to make mayo not worth as much.
Mayonnaise production is going to ruin the series. Just like the gold production in the previous one. Too easy to make vast, unrealistic amounts of money. 30k per 1000 litres. Who is buying mayonnaise at £15 per standard sized jar! Lol.
Oh GOLD production! Yeah I kind of agree. But at least the olive stuff will come sooner. Perhaps $15 for mayo makes sense if it’s organic and free range? Lol 😂
@@stephengarvin3308that’s truffle Mayo, just regular mayo is much cheaper and in most countries costs about 5-7 euros for half a litre so it’s still pretty realistic what’s happening in this game. Just a bit over the top, the lower price comes closest to reality
I agree with everyone else, the mayonnaise is paying way too much. It’s paying £30 a litre, even the expensive Hellmann’s stuff is just over £4 a litre at retail.
Mulching gives you a 2,5% bonus, rolling does the same. You can see this on the field info under yeald potential. You need both to reach 100%, otherwise it'll be 95%
as i read the comments below i totally agree with them the mayo price is way too high and will def spoil the series the challenge has now gone with very easy money i think in this one instance you both should agree to edit the Mods XML and cut the price in half even them it is still high but there is a lot of work involved i guess but the price as it is will ruin the series for me, also in total agreement with chainsaw with the auto stacker you both cleared those bales in next to no time as a team you dont need to waste 50k on that better put into new land maybe, or better combine something more useful that will be used more often.

I daresay the selling point you placed down is the one giving 30k. It probably has a 2x multiplier on purchases, the same as the Pellet sale point has a 1.8x multiplier on purchases. Basically, mod make didn't even try to make the mod balanced, lol I see you sold some mayo several minutes later and confirmed this. I commented right at the start of the episode!
I think you can immediately sell it back in to the production which halves the profit to a much more realistic £15k, which works out about the same price per litre of premium mayonnaise in the UK.

@@JesseEder I've just opened up the XML. Mayonnaise is $7,800/1,000L on Hard difficulty. The selling station does, as expected, have a 2x price modifier on mayo. That means you get $14,040/1,000L on normal and $23,400/1,000L on Easy. The selling station then gives $15,600/1k on Hard $28,080/1k on Normal $46,800/1k on Easy Plus the value by time of year varies between 0.9 and 1.09, but we all know prices can go even higher than the "best" price by about 10%. So you're looking at approx $18,700/1k on Hard using the sell point. It's fine to stay on Normal/Easy, but they definitely should not use the sell point, and should auto sell or sell straight back to the factory
And there goes another nice series to a stupidly unbalanced production. You may as well just add in money with the dev tools. This series was good because you both worked damn hard for your progression. That aspect is gone now. Same thing happened in the last series with gold and methane. You guys really should avoid mods that are utterly unbalanced and ruin the in game economy.
@Daggerwin Are you playing seasonal growth off? If so, I recommend a smaller field of sorghhum. It germinates as fast as oats in the game and can then use it as chicken feed.
Every series starts off fantastic… and then it gets ruined by stupidity unbalanced and OP productions. Basically the same as using EZ dev to get the money in.
I’m only ten minutes in, but you also have the front attachment bale wrapper that can be sold. I’d like to see another garage to store your equipment. Great series so far. Thank you!
I think you should get rid of the sell point you placed and just set the mayo production to selling. Yes it will sell pallets when the price is not the best, but it will keep the series more balanced and less ruined. £60k for 2 pallets, c'mon..
It's one of the issues with modded productions, especially for a long running series. The balance is really cool for a game at home where you're trying to advance moderately quickly into big, expensive equipment but for a longer running or challenge series, it makes it trivial. Kinda like the greenhouses in the last competitive multiplayer. Not a criticism of the mod - just different balance priorities! Definitely find a way to adjust the mayo prices to balance properly for your series, or the challenge aspect will become trivial really quick.
It's not meant to be realistic but even I am wondering if that mayo price was too high. Either way though, keep going. Enjoy these episodes and look forward to the next.
Would also suggest to balance the income from the mayo production. Don't want the series to be over within 10 more episodes. Other than that, keep going guys. P.S. Don't mind you guys getting the olive harvester before nerfing the mayo production
idk about the UK but in Ireland Mayo at Tesco varies from 1 euro to about 4.5 per 0.45L, 30K per 1K L works out at about 15 quid per smaller jar/squeezy bottle. you could get a T Bone Steak of the same weight and still have 5 quid left over to get some mayo in Tesco.
ATTN Dagerwin.. there is a new mod made just for you. Interactive zone markers now have a hockey binding.. no fiddling with menus to find the sell wood trigger again
33:41 Since your low of eggs and you have $45K why not just go ahead and buy more chickens now rather than wait for them to populate themselves? The extra eggs you'd get would be well worth the extra money you pay for the chickens I would think.
4:31 wait ... Mayonnaise is at its best in September ... or did I see that wrong. And wasn't the price fluctuation for it completely different in the last episode ...
When I saw "Mind blowing mayo" in the title, it was not the video I would have expected. I was really wondering how your co-op had progressed to that level.
Not a fan of the Mayo pricing. Ruins the challenge. I'd say sell the production, the olive groves, and the olive tractor and buy a new plot to further expand the farm, and focus on new equipment purchases with the wood you harvest (maybe big wood equipment to help you transform the map?)!
I know that in Finland the Mayo is more expensive than the US or UK, but 30'000.-- for a 1000 liter is a bit of a stretch. Unrealistic and killing for the series...
No no no daggerwin stop ruining all the series with unrealistic mod productions...2000 liters of mayonnaise has a profit margin of roughly 450% vs selling the eggs and canola oil separately. Totally stupid and gamebreaking. Not interested in the series if this is what its gonna be.
Hey daggerwin, I’m wondering if the mayonnaise is worth a bit too much maybe. Might ruin the series if you just suddenly have a ton of money. Maybe there’s a way you can lower the price a bit or something.
im willing to agree with the others. the mayo might be a bit op. depending on how fast it produces ofc. its not fun when it makes every other way of income not worth
Please do my tism brain a favour and cut down the trees beside the sunflower field instead of constantly having to slalom through them!! Plus you can extend that field to the rocks!
Good day Daggerwin hope you keeping well? Just watch your video & ChinaSaw`s -two more great videos Some feedback if I may :) 1. Re Mayo production - I have a few ideas to think about it A. Sell it and work out how much you get for the remaining Canola Oil - I think it`s just below 9.800? - add the money via Dev tool mod as if you just sold the oil. B. or edit the files in the Mayo mod to lower the income? - Does seem odd to have two prices though - Is it a bug? - lower it to match the clothes or just bit lower! Try the Pasta mod too replace Mayo maybe - ?
Daggerwin ruins so much crop! He also misses more while baling then i miss my dead grandpa... And i miss him loads!!!! Also i thought this was supposed to be a collab series, but it seems like chainsaw is the only one that makes decisions on this series... Quite disappointing!!!
@@txshorns02 fs22 isn't realistic either it's still a game there's still quite a lot of work they have to put into making the mayonnaise so I think it might be ok. I think if in the future it gets too out of hand with how much money they are making from it then they'll remove it
YOU CAN GET A BALE SPIKE THE EXPAND LIKE PALLET FORKS IT IS THE RAPPED BALES ONE BUT WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT YOU HAVE GOT A OPTION THE SAYS BALE SPIKE OR RAPPED BALE ONE
