Loved your review and you! You had me laughing 😂. I went to my local Ulta and tested out this product in the shade Terra. An associate informed me that it has color correction mixed in with the foundation. I, like you, also prefer the hydrating formula over the matte. You may have to try another color that has less red. I’m willing to give it another try because the color toned down only after a few minutes for me and the finish was very close to the hydrating formula. Can’t wait to see an update from you 😊

I always look forward to your videos and review of Bare minerals products. I to love the brand so I am glad somebody is doing a honest review for as black woman who love the brand. I love this tinted moisturizer in the original, but thought i give this a try, thanks to you I will think twice. you are right they need to understand that black woman don't have pink undertones, mine are more golden. I think I will stick with the original one I love so much. Thanks again for the review.

Awww. Thanks so much for watching. I hate they cancelled Hazelnut. Chai was the next best thing, but it was cooler in the old formula. But I haven’t tried it in the new formula.
I’m still waiting for more lighter medium warm colors. Ginger 06 can work for me I’m SUPER TAN, although a bit red, and bamboo 5.5 is too yellow, and the next warm down is a 3?!? Lol very annoying, I hope they ad more undertones!

I can only imagine how you feel about this. I was excited for this too myself. I tried the original complexion rescue and wasn’t impressed but that was forever ago. I am salty about them getting rid of the bb prime time primers. Spf/primer in one.. 😢😅
I didn’t like the original complexion rescue either, but now I LOVE it. I think they improved the formula and colors. I do remember the BB prime time. I didn’t really use those because they weren’t dark enough for my complexion, but they did look good on fair to tan skin.
On my oily, pale, Norwegian skin, the original finish would really turn to an oil slick halfway through the day. But no way am I buying the matte after this review. 😂
If you have oily skin you may want to try the BarePro liquid or Powder. Also, if you have a fair complexion, there actually may have a color for you. It’s the deeper shades where they struggle. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching. 😘
