Holy crap, DC is killing it with these announcements. PJK on Batman and Robin is solid Did you see the Action Comics announcement? Gonna be awesome too
There’s a new creative team for Action Comics (with the comic getting weekly with Mark Waid writing it) and Green Arrow (celebrated its 350th issue and this year’s annual).
Of all the things to be announced and revealed, the fact that Bats & Robin is going to be continuing after this Williamson run is just bizarre to me, it feels like so little happened its basically just like a relaunch, especially if hes not bringing in Shush or these elements he ""set up"" in the first Robin series and this "ongoing"
@@WeirdScienceComics The Bloodhunt cross over and the obligatory, we need another Ghost Rider or guest appearance du jour has really slowed it down. Plus, the kid sidekick isn’t really working.
This is the only book announced so far that really intrigues me. I am on the fence supporting DC at the moment, but think PJK is an excellent writer. I am concerned about the "helping the world" bit. I hope that isn't code for "he's going to be a liberal community activist holding an Planet B sign to protest climate change." Now I have to decide if I drop my DC pull list, stop buying digital and or drop Infinite. DC has put me in a rather uncomfortable position right when they are pushing a new marketing campaign. BtW every interaction I've had with him, even when I've disagreed with him, he's been courteous and kind.
Excited for this. Just cause it felt like Williamson is stretched thin. The Batman/Robin book should always be one of the best character building books for the dynamic duo. Kennedy-Johnson’s Action Comics run was also great. I think this has potential. Perhaps if he does well here he can use this to take over the main Batman title. He definitely seems to get the characters he writes and puts in the effort to understand what the fans want by staying true to whom the character is.
@@WeirdScienceComics I meant Action Comics run. Sorry :) Fixed. Agreed on the sales. While I enjoyed the stories in Action Comics you’re right about the overall sales. I meant this can be more of a springboard into an opportunity.
I thought this book ended LOL - anyways good vid Jim... PKJ is a weird pick... but Let's see.... CAN WE get the JLA again tho? what is DC without a JLA team!? and don't add kamala to the Team either ! SHEESH!
I wouldn’t expect PKJ on Batman Robin, but I trust him so I’m in. I am excited for all the announcements. They’ve all been pretty interesting and a good shuffling of the deck for the main line, and Absolute looks promising. Really curious where Lemire and Ram V land. Chris Condon and montos on green arrow is a W too
I really like P.K.J. (Aliens, James Bond, Incredible Hulk) but do not want to jump back into this series, I got the 1st 5 or 6 issues before I read it and couldn't make it through issue 3 before I quit reading it, another hard pass. Thanks for all the info today, you've definitely earned your rest with all these videos. That'll do Jimmy Boy, that'll do.
Whats up 'Weirdos' Onion here! Im looking for a good copy Of Amalgam Comics instant Classic Tales of Showcase : Iron Lantern # 223 Can anyone help out?
Lets hope it would be better than Williamson and that shity artist (Simon what?!) and I'm a Tim Drake fan and let me tell you that I don't want to see him in any comic cause he's gonna be more GAY than ever.
