New Beetle: How To Disable Daytime Running Lights 

I'm not interested in turning off my DRL, but learning how to remove the light dial is priceless! Thank you!

This is a godsend. I've been annoyed by the DRL for a while. Mostly, because they're only required in Canada from what I know and I'm in California where they serve no purpose.

This did turn off the DEL, but also disabled the high beam.

Hi guys, thx for your videos, related to those lights, mine is not well orientated and it is causing troubles (for periodic control :) ) do you know HOW TO deal with it ? seems that the screw holes are ko on mine (nothing moving from what I see) and the moving of the little yhing inside did not changed anything. I am thinking about buying another, after attempting to dissamble it without success

Pin B worked for my 2007 new beetle. However, I wanted to change the original DRL making it turn on the lights (not low or high beam, nor the fog lights) without enlightening the whole dash...but it seems impossible (at least with the wiring coming to this switch). Any clue if and how I can achieve that?

The Australian model didnt come with daytime running lights. Is there a way to turn them on?
