Awesome! I'm moving several of those same products from my'17 300 race to my '22 300 Race. After wrenching for 2 and half days, I finally got a breakin ride. The KYB forks were friggin awesome! I need some dialing in the rear for sure but I didn't even get a chance to set the sag yet. The superior steering precision was quite noticable from my '17... Not that was a bad bike as I loved it but I'm already liking the '22 more... Thanks for the video!
Nice build. I have one coming in April. Im in Idaho Falls. I’m going to contact you about some of these upgrades when mine shows up. Also your garage is sooo clean. Very nice!
A rear disc guard. Suspension tuning is all you need. A Lectron or smart carb maybe. I have a high compression head. The rest is preference. I feel to much add-one is a mistake. I do like what you did with getting rid of the wiring
Sano build C4P !! Croykee that's nice !! Heads up for you on the Polisport swing arm protectors...while they look great and will protect the SA from damage in a crash or bash, if you don't take them off and clean them regularly they will create damage of their own. Dirt, dust and tiny pebbles can get in between the guard and your SA and ruin the finish. Not sure if they come with 2 sided tape (sounds like you have that stuff dialed) but that might not be a bad idea to strategically place some of that on the SA as to hold the guard "away" from the finish. YMMV. I "dont" have first hand knowledge but have done some digging regarding, and that seems to be the skinny.
These Polisports did come with some single sided foam tape to accomplish just what you describe. I would agree 100 percent about keeping them away from the SA with double side tape or similar product. Thanks

Awesome bike, and awesome Job! How hard was the trail tech fan to install? I have the Beta fans installed in my 22’ race editions but they are a joke with coming on, the bike has to get incredibly hot before they operate. Installing a manual switch it just more non sense wiring to add. Thanks for the video. Nice bike.
Check out Spanish fly Billet turbine spark arrestor that you mount into the stock Muffler and can retain the OEM heat shield. I have one it's very nice. Substantially higher quality than FMF stamps steel crap.
Man that is a beautiful machine. I have been eyeballing the new 200RR. I’m not sure if I’m gonna get the standard or the race edition. Right now from what I’ve been reading, I think the standard addition would be best due to the suspension being perfect for a weekend warrior that likes to hit a couple here scrambles here and there.
Thank you for the comment. I will tell you the suspension right from Beta on the Race Ed is too stiff for single track riding and slower, technical trails. I’m my opinion anyway. I cannot offer any input on the standard edition. Hope this helps.

That is a great question and well thought out. The Beta has very similar characteristics as the TPi bike, but much more torque imo. Because of the torque and snappy feel of the Beta, it seemed like it equated to less weight feel. Hope this makes sense. If you could ride a TPi and a Beta back to back you would understand. The TPi is really good for sure and can be ridden all day long and not wear you out as it has such a linear powerband as compared. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Great video thanks. I've just sold a KTM EXC 200 2016 and about to get either the Beta RR 200 or RR 200 Racing 2023. is the RR race with KYB worth the extra ? Also how does this compare to build now you have ridden it for 9 months ? Thanks
If you intend on faster desert racing, hare scrambles ,etc, the KYB is a better platform. For slower, hard enduro riding, you may be happier in stock form, going with the RR. The KYB's can be valved and tuned to perform softer for hard enduro, slower trail riding. I will say IMO, the KYB's are to stiff for my liking stock.
Have you had any issues with the electrical? I’m thinking of getting a 22 race from my 2020 xcw but I’m not looking to have to deal with these issues I hear of
@@r.cic1596 no when I received the machine I pulled the connectors apart and put dielectric grease on them and at the back of the connector where water can intrude I used GE silicone and filled in the holes. So far the only thing I had to do was adjust the bowl float. People told me the bowl float is because the machines are shipped without fuel for safety and the float bounces around. The machine has been fantastic! I will let you know if I have any issues.
Nice build! What did you end up at for jetting? I ride the same elevation as you and just got the call today that my ‘23 is at the dealer waiting for me.
Dan, I ended up settling with a Lectron Carb on this bike. Prior to that, I followed the jetting as listed in the manual and it was pretty close, however the fuel mileage was horrible until I went with the Lectron. On a side not, I have sold this bike at the end of this riding season to fund another project bike.
No matter how I comment on removing the thermostat, somebody has a differing of opinion but that’s okay. I remove it from a reliability perspective. I will say if you ride in colder climates, the bike will maybe never fully warm up without a thermostat. For a race setting or riding in warmer climates it’s the way to go. No worrying about a leak from the plastic thermostat housing or a stuck thermostat. The silicone hoses are very durable compared to rubber. Just make sure to use the Samco hose clamps, not the oem clamps. Hope this helps.
Whats your rationale for using the BRP clamps for the handguards rather than the Cycra brand? I have a Beta 300rr coming in and am considering the same handguards.
The BRP is much cleaner set up and more rigid. The cycra clamp around the bars and interfere with the brake and clutch lines on some bikes. If you combine the BRP with the threaded bar inserts, it’s near bullet proof.
