I just discovered this game and I am so happy with it. It took me a long time to figure things out, such as the different controls and the things you need. I died a few times too. Now seeing just this first video, I know how to get more water 😁 not waiting for rain. And how to use the crates. Now I cannot choose what to do, play for myself and struggle further, or watching your next video. Unbelievable how fast you advance in just one day 😲🤗 thanks.

I think you have to be so close to the campfire to hear the bell when the meat is finished cooking. I've noticed that in my own games. Love that you've started a new series, so of course, yes, I want to see more! By the way, the comment "am I full of rocks" that you made in the video, that's like a loaded question. Honestly forgot this game existed till this video came up in my recommendations. I remember seeing another RU-vidr play this game when it first came out. It seemed like a really cool game with the idea it presented. This video made me look to see how much the game was, to my surprise it was 15, figured that was fair. Picked it up, put 2 hours into it. And am probably gonna restart my save to do a better go now that I’ve learned some basics. Needless to say it’s a fun game, I’m not always huge on survival games. But games like This and The long dark are very intriguing.

Wireless game sure has improved a lot. I got it in early release and it was full bugs. Very happy to see the developers stuck with it. I'm going to have to play it again

I remember when I played this for the first time back in 2015 or 2016-ish it looks so barren compared to this one, everything is just so hard to get I remember I need to go the the neighboring islands just to find some rocks and sticks and every loot is full of water bottle and lighter

I changed the key binding for The fire making as it is very inaccessible due to my spinal injury. I play with various adaptive equipment and the fire mechanic is impossible. I really appreciate the devs allowing option to change all the controls within the game as many games don’t. First day playing the game today and love it. Cant wait to learn the game. Spent today being a total survival noob but your playthrough has given me loads of tips. (To change key setup for fire pause game, go to options and then input. Scroll down to fire control and change the right click to left click. You then just repeatedly hit left mouse to light fire).

I came to watch your Dreadville video and enjoyed that a lot - love your epithets! So I went to your main channel page and saw this Stranded Deep vid from 4 years ago. I was playing SD, but just gave up because it was impossible to build, then there's a glitch with un-attaching barrels and stuff from rafts etc. THEN I read that there was only 1 single dev left working on it... too frustrating to bother anymore. And then I found Sunkenland! Wooohooo! Frustrating right now that the fight locations don't register as cleared when you have cleared them. I really need Radio Island and the last zombie raft for supplies! No space left in the trunk of the boat when I have to bring weapons, ammo, bandages etc along. Anyway - glad to bump into you. Subscribing now! :)

Yes more I love this game and I have started making islands for it. I uploaded pictures of it and the link as to where to get it on the Steam Stranded Deep site World Editing page under my Steam name Rusty Ironstar, the island name is Torowando if you or any one wants to try it out. It was made with the standard version 0.62 I don't know if it will work well with the experimental version or not.

If you have arthritis you really should consider buying a mouse that supports macro creation for stupid QTEs like this. It helped me a ton!

You can change the keys. Go to options, input and change the right mouse click to left mouse click. You then just hit the left mouse button loads and it works much easier. I have a spinal injury so use various adaptions to play and couldnt do the new fire mechanic until I changed it.
