I have a real soft spot for the NC24! My brother owned a VFR400Z, which was basically an unfaired version of this that had a normal double sided swing arm. It was nuts!
I was originally looking for a Z! I just lost out on an auction for one last month. It was an NC21 but with the swingarm and tail unit upgraded to the NC24 versions. Eventually my search led to the fully faired model.
They're a more focused bike than the 800 (though I love the 800fi model very much). I'd personally take a sorted version of one of these over a similarly priced sports 600 any day. A well sorted 400 is hard to find in the UK though.
