Hi Nick - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. I've done 11,000 miles on my 2020 4 speed model. Its a fantastic machine and a real workhorse. Modifications I've done have been carrier, handlebar clock, cush puppy handlebar grips and front mudguard extension. I had a small topbox fitted but it cracked the carrier so I now have an Oxford canvas bag, which is ideal. Negatives are ridiculously soft rear shocks and wooden feeling brakes. I have recently fitted EBC sintered pads and the difference in performance and feedback is extraordinary. Replacement shocks will be ordered when in stock. I bought a second chain and swap them over every 1000 miles, cleaning them then boiling them in appropriate grease. I've found it vital to maintain correct chain tension, which at 35mm slack appeared too loose at first. I also change the oil every 1000 miles and inspect the magnetic sump plug I fitted. I've averaged 153mpg from new although the speedometer is 4mph optimistic at 50 so the odometer is therefore inaccurate also.

Also recommend 6 point socket over just any old socket.

If the Battery Screws are loose your Mechanic was drunk in the first place. The Dealer has to install the Battery Cable on a new Bike they are off during Transport for safety. And cuddle the Safety Inspector from us

Have you any tips for altering the suspension? I’m thinking of adjusting mine to try it a bit more stiffer.
