I mean, it's not really speculation that the Bionicle moulds are destroyed. They destroy all moulds every five years that aren't considered current parts to save on storage costs. It's not a very distant inferrence in logic that the ones made 20 years ago are also just as gone as the ones lost five years ago.
Thanks for sharing this creator, exciting to see plastic recreations. This is the best way to keep bionicle alive, through 3rd party makers and creators, lego will only ever throw us the odd GWP or minifigure print so we need to support these endeavors
I'm a big fan of Kenny's masks, and have been planning to get the Hau in so many different colours (all the turaga colours, as well as all the trans ones. Perhaps even some of the Metru colours). Too bad the focus for the other masks are the currently really expansive ones... I'd have loved all the toa Mata and turaga masks in more colours
Now you just need to make 3D injected plastic parts specifically socket joints and New creations and then the art form of construction building can continue on to the Future.
Yo I met that guy at a Bricks Cascade earlier this year, he's a super chill guy and is helpful, heck he's been known to give accidental colored parts for free at conventions, that is if you participate in the conventions

Having these would possibly allow for creating physical representations of other characters that never had official set releases. Including some of the Le-Matoran and Onu-Matoran.
Yeah, I got verry excited when I saw this a while ago... And then verry disapointed there were just this 2 masks. The original mata masks would be great for nostalgia seek, specially because of PURPLE. But I think the real move would be the Metru masks in all the metru colors hehe Besides the obvious rare masks, like the Ignika of course.
I was thinking yesterday about how i would love to have all of the 2001 masks in a dark metru color with some silver on top. Wpuld be fun to see that in the future. Or the toa metru masks in other colors for thoughs who want some fun looking Voya matroran.
I think is saw these on eBay when browsing for the 2001 kanohi but didnt think kuch of them -- might have to take another look, if only to get transparent masks for the powers being active!!
I took 3 days from the point of ordering, to it being shipped. It then took 4 or so days for it to be shipped to me. This was a couple months back, so it could be a little more or less time.

Ah, if only someone started making genuine Bionicle sets. Most are just cheap knock-offs that are only good for display, try moving and they fall apart. And it is if they even look good...
As someone who has a small collection of aliexpress knock off bonkles, I can say that some are nearly indistinguishable from the real thing and have staggering durability, friction, and detail just like the official sets.
@@trevormelton3060 I've been wanting to get the protectors but am worried about mixing with official parts. As time goes on and sets get rare I'm am starting to have second thoughts lol. The G2 toa official sets were freaking expensive...
So let me get this straight, Bionicle fans have been begging for a re-release/reboot of classic Bionicle (those recent ones dont count, they suck) for years, and all they did was give us masks in colors we shouldve had in 2000. And fans are supposed to be ok with that? If people were already making custom mask, we already had those colors. WTF man.
Imagine being mad that somebody is actually offering an accessible way for people to have masks since not everybody can make custom masks themselves. Lego certainly isn't going nothing, there isn't going to be a reboot of classic Bionicle anyways, reboot would just be another new attempt.
