Genshin can only do that because of gacha rates being low and whales being all over it. And you brought up 2 games because those are the only 2 games that made it as high as they did. Most mobile games die out/ make a part 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 because the original project isnt worth it anymore.

These characters will probably have new gimmicks like new characters in current games. In the end this is a mobile game and not a true fighting game so end of series characters will probably have larger, harder to parry, and way stronger attacks but you will still be able to fight against them and enjoy the game

if this gonna have some pvp elements then they should balance them though there will always be a tierlist but hoping its based more on skill and not just smashing buttons chances are it will always be base on the parry/ block system how long can you block or is there a limit or breakable shield will there be long range skills like kido that can be spam dashes? and energy for dashes skill that has unfair mechanics like guard breaks or homing nature

The story mode are usually different than actual characters. Take DMC 5 for example, the very first stage is nearly unbeatable in the first run. And the set up is meant for you to lose the fight. So, most often, story mode bosses are a lot harder since they have higher stats than normal. If this game has PvP, most likely the game characters like yhwach, Yama, ichigo, ichibe, etc, would be S tier characters. And since there's parry mechanism in the game, then there would also be some niche characters with pierce or guard breaks too. RN, we don't know if there's a skill set in this game like BBS has which increases damages etc.

Will there even be pvp? It being a gacha game, usually they just completely omit PVP or it becomes heavily pay2win which many modern gacha games, especially the quality ones, try to avoid. Also, just wouldn't be fair if someone at home on PC with a proper setup is battling against someone on phone sitting in a bus. Until they show off PVP I'm not counting on something like that being in the game. If any of the other better action gacha games is something of a hint, then it might be heavily story and character building focused, meaning you enjoy the story and cutscenes, do dailies and weeklies to grind gacha currency, pull for your favorite characters, spend your daily energy or daily attempts on getting level up and ascension materials and slowly build your characters and teams over the course of weeks and months. In which new characters will be released, you gonna build too ect. And then there's usually 2-3 additional modes where you replay harder versions of boss battles or clear any hard challenges, so all the building, grinding and gameplay skill can be put to use to get some especially worth rewards. Also nowadays most bigger gacha games come with a roguelike mode, where you fight and pick random buffs every floor for a whole "run". I would expect at least a couple of those things to be in the bleach game as it is gonna be a free2play live service game and keeping the player base engaged over many months/years is gonna be crucial.

I've had a similar idea also, except it's going to be a gamemode. Cuz im fr worried if there's any endgame content in the game. Basically, you, yourself, is the character. You create your own character design in the menu, and you can choose between the 4 races in the series. You can explore Karakura Town, Soul Society/Seireitei, Hueco Mundo, or the Quincy Palace. Basically an open world gamemode. Though you need to do something specific for every race ofc. Like Soul Reapers need to become one by graduating the academy, choose which squad you are in, etc. Maybe you can interact with different characters in-between. You know the rest. It has a similar template in Roblox Bleach games, but it ain't my cup of tea. They're either mediocre, p2w, had clan spins, etc. So yeah. Hopefully it would be added in, cuz it would fr sucked if the game doesn't have endgame content.
