They are being faithful to the manga, where it takes place in the "afternoon". Which is why even in "Rebirth of souls" trailer the sokyokou scenes also takes place in the afternoon skies. This is because they had Kubo involve in the project. The same thing why they don't add the red outlines for the bankai black getsuga. Also it is not a "rare" thing for anime fights to take place in broad daylight lol. Like if you watch a lot of shonen there are more "broad daylight" fights than not. Ibasically the most common time anime fights takes place is either daylight or nighttime. The rarer ones are those that takes place at Twilight, daybreak or when it is raining. Those fights are usually reserve to a special few fights. I don't know where you get the idea that "broad daylight fights in anime are rare"😂

​​@@Valentin-xv3xnfighting games usually don't lend well to "story cutscenes". Arpg though has better ways to tell it's story. I could mostly tell that by RoS showing simple trailer sutscenes that has the voice overs out of sync that they redid the dub for newer version of the trailer. Compare that to this mobile game that is on an "alpha version", where they basically at least nailed the voice over syncing. That don't mean Soul resonance Is immediately better, it more so means Soul Resonance focused more on the story scenes compared to RoS.

All we know is that it’s a 2024 release

I don't expect Ros to have a good way of telling the story though. Like it is in grain with fighting games to have a scuffed way of telling a story. So Soul resonance probably will tell the story better than RoS.
