@@kenrossaukrsa It's the exact same hang-on FWD-biased system like Haldex is. Just because its called xDrive it doesnt mean that its primarly rear wheel drive. Please just stop spreading bullshit if you dont know what youre talking about. It is "computer controlled" aswell. If it detects slip on the front axle, power is sent to the rear wheels.

The likes and dislikes really don't match the comments on this video.. All the people complaining here haven't even seen or driven one in real life! I have driven the new 118i model and bought one on the spot afterwards. BMW is finally getting rid of the image of careless 1 series drivers who can only drive in a straight line and be antisocial in traffic. Not long ago I passed one with a M140i who couldn't hold a line in the corners at all after which he nearly drove me off the road because he couldn't take it..

Your opinion. I don't think it does. People who are going to buy this, are gonna daily drive it, meaning they want decent performance and reasonably good fuel economy. If you want sportier, go for the m2, z4 m40i For the purposes intended for this car, it's more than good enough Sheers (:

Raw Pardos people who want economy won't go for the m135i. Hell, 95% of people who get this don't care about anything but the BMW badge and will go for the lowest/ cheapest spec available. That is literally why this car is what it is. A piece of trash for most car enthusiasts compared to its previous model

@@BarisM2C 8.3 in mine. The amount of cars that get humiliated by an M140i that has just a stage 1 remap, is hilarious! Brilliant engine is the B58. I sold mine in August, as I'd ordered an M2 comp, but I know that one day I'll have another M140i.

So today I drove the new 135i and I have too say, it is the newer and better cruiser car. But, the 140i is the better sportscar and you will have more emotion by drving this car. So the 135i failed for me.

So where are the bmw fanboys now that were talking shit about the 2L 4 cilinder engine and sound of the A35? And Audi is going to be next. I already heard about it multiple times at dealerships that chances are pretty high the next RS3 will also be a 2L 4cilinder engine. Why does this even come as a surprise? They have been downsizing engines for years now, even on the bigger models. Well except for this one, the power did go up though. The A45s even pushes 421hp out of a 2L, wouldn’t be surprised if Audi is going to do the same or even a bit more. Audi and Mercedes have been taking turns on most hp for a while now. There are positive things about these engines though, but you just have to take care of the car. I see so many guys flooring their hothatch after a cold start or flooring it at every red light to do a sprint. They also call their selves “car guys”, but don’t even know why it’s important to have a good oil temperature before flooring it. Manufacturers even had to do something about it, so the car won’t brake down before the end of the waranty xD Many cars already have a limiter in terms of the power output when everything isn’t on the right temperature yet. Same with launch control that doesn’t work on a cold engine. Besides that the launch control isn’t healthy for the car anyway.

@Robin Hana with new regulations no-one would buy one so what would be the point to make a car that can't sell? Remember the one is supposed to be a' entry level but because (or thanks to) bmw engineers and yes RWD of the padt, they could put a 6L 340hp 3.0 in there, creating an extraordinary piece. That's past. Stay in the past if you want... No one will care that you do so leave others alone. And if you ever want to buy a sports car look at the M2 Competition.

It's interior is nicer but if you're really interested in that dynamic you'd probably buy a Porsche or Mercedes.

It's a hot hatch buyers are going to be comparing on performance. Literacy is one of the most basic skills in life is as basic as wiping your arse after taking a dump, it's even worse because you have an auto correct feature made available to you in any web browser but you choose not to use it. Not sure what the capitalisation is for.. It's almost like you're shouting but here goes...
