@@Konrad-cj8fr 2012 Honda CRV. Which has soft leatherette all over the dashboard and armrests, has felt in the door pockets, unlike the BMW's plastic. It has seats with cushioning in them unlike the BMWs park benches. It also has these incredible things called "buttons" which means I can operate the climate control and volume in a split-second instead of messing around in a screen for ages. Literally compared this X2 to 2015 1-series and you'll see all the leather/cloth has been replaced with plastic and all the buttons have been removed for cost-cutting.
2012? CR-V compared to 300 HP? 😁 My parents have 2022 CR-V and its a great car, but you cant compare it. So you cant name a better suv in that price range, so couldnt i.
@@Konrad-cj8fr YOU asked me to explain how the X2's interior is cheap. Now that I did exactly that you're trying to change the subject to performance. The X2 has a kak interior that is cheaper than cars half it's price. Admit that before trying to change the topic.
I think the presenter is slightly missing the idea with his final conclusion - there is a difference between an 'M' car, which has an 'i' at the end of its name, and a fully fledged "M" car, just like there is a difference between an 'S' and an 'RS' with Audi.
Can get confusing. There's M-Sport which is just a sports package then thers the M-Badged aka M Performance like in this video. M performance Usually has 2 to 3 digits after the M then ends with an i. Similar to Audi's S. Lastly, the pure M aka M car which only has 1 number after the M and no i at the end. Would be similar to Audi's RS.
With these explanations, this cars should have M-sport added to the title, like Audis S-line. If the M is infront of 135i it should still be worthy. All of this doesn't matter anymore anyways, bmws 35 used to mean there's a 6 cylinder under the bonnet 😂
I agree with, the second hand RSQ3 with low mileage is the better option. Or if I want to save, I'd go for the Tiguan R and save myself R300K probably.
Issue with the market this car falls into (compact SUvs) is that 1. There is honestly not a big of a need for a sporty version. I mean sure, maybe to get the buzz going for the car, but honestly it won't be that much of a buzz 2. Brand loyalty isn't really that big of a thing in this segment. Especially for BMW, this isn't really the car they are known for (2, 3, 4 and 5 series X3 and 5 are the cars with loyalty). 3. Majority of the amenities the car comes (except the power of course) with you can get for much cheaper from the Asian counterparts. So my conclusion is that BMW did this to get some excitement for the X2, I'm not sure if it's enough though tbh.
For this money I would look at a Lexus NX 450 h or X1m..Lexus,I have looked at one has full spec, way better quality, including a moonroof (R25,k on X2,),and all the extras fitted as standard. And in my view better resale value and after sales service..Had two BMW, and both with issues that took long time to resolve. Most important the Lexus has actual buttons and knobs where needed..
BMW has really fallen down a long way. They used to be exclusive and engaging drivers' cars that people would cherish for decades. Now they are brash volume sellers for people to show off for the duration of a lease deal.
I like it 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I swear that many people that hates this car dont even come close to affording ots monthly payments i can't say much about the ones that could afford paying it fully in cash.
Why is every one complaining about the 4 cylinder, the original M was a four cylinder. It's an Mperformance model but that they taking it our the edge by diluting the M brand.
Even M lites used to be special bro, not only that they should be taking to court for putting a 135 badge on a 2.0 4 cylinder and charging you for a 6 cylinder
This planned obsolescence crap and counting your pennies don't belong in the same WhatsApp group. I think the Corolla you showed us earlier will be a better fit. Good, honest review. Lekker man! 😅👍🏻🙋🏼♂️
I am offended by the review. For the first time on cars you brutally compare a car to another car and to make matters worse a bloody bloated Audi. Jacob I am watching you boet you better be brutal on your next review because you killed the M and I am a premium fan boy
If I had a R1.2 mill to spend on a BMW closer to this category I would buy a 2023 X3 M40i with the following engine specs. • 6 Cylinder 3L Turbo Engine • 285kw / 500nm • XDrive All for R1.1mill and take an extended Motorplan with the change just to compensate for the +-20k Kms on the clock. Than waste money on this overpriced thing with an exterior design that looks like it was designed by Toyota
