I recently bought this, it can do a clean nice cut in wood with trigger and on the setting to cut without the aggressive cut setting. Take your time is can cut clean which was a bonus for me I was not expecting that. 2 good blades come with it and it feels solid and strong. Not cheap but I got a redemption offer with it to ease the pain.
If you are looking for solutions on how to get the blade into the blade change chuck, you have to press down into the locking mechanism with the blade to get it to engage. Seems to be a common confusion so trying to spread that info around!
I had the Hikoki 36V recip. I switched my outfit to (mostly) Bosch and the new Bosch recip I now have is not even nearly as powerful in use. It does the job, but the Hikoki is a BEAST. The Bosch is good and the fact it is made for metal cutting means it probably is not aggressive enough for wood demolition. I do like the Bosch, but it was a trade down from the Hikoki 36V,
@@hrundgren4352 really..if bosch made for steel than mean it dont have orbital function..yes hikoki is a green monster..i cut 16inch mango tree using diablo blade in just a few minute..very fast
@@jojet92 Proper blade is important. 👍 The best blade can make an ”ok” machine perform on par or even better with a good machine with a dull or wrong blade.
I really feel bad for these guys that have to present at these trades shows as, by and large, they aren’t tradesman but marketing and sales folks and when presented with tech questions, they tend to… flounder. Or else they aren’t decent public speakers, which is more cruel.
