My Dad worked and retired from the Coke Plant, in New Boston. He also had rental homes all through Portsmouth. My grandparents lived right over here Hill on Milldale. That’s where I raised my daughter for about 10 years, after their passing. I live in Wheelersburg. Very nice video!
If you ever feel like doing a sequel to this, could you get us some aerial views of the hills? The trail up from the top of Glenwood to White Rock, for example, or over the ancient trails that go towards Portsmouth or Rosemount. I walked over them a thousand times but have no idea what they'd look like from the air. I wonder about some of the scars on the land (the old clay mine, for example) and whether they've healed up since I was growing up.
