I will say as someone who playtested these weapons… they have so much priority it actually needs to be nerfed. Ground pound beats out almost every move in the game, and the strings are very hard to dodge with their wide hitboxes. Looking forward to playing this when it goes live!
Kind of a missed opportunity that they didn't make Chun Li a Battle Boots characters. If they waited a while, this new weapon would have been a perfect fit for her.
@@SRTBams oh yeah, a character known for using their entire body to make gusts of air is a better fit than a character who’s entire fighting style is based around kicking.
surely they would've had to delay by up to a full year so i get it, what i don't get is why rite aid doesn't consider extreme constipation a "big enough issue to break the employee-only bathroom policy"
Nah, they'll balance it out with something big and heavy realistically. Like Hammer or Axe or Spear. I think they've learnt their lesson with giving two "light" weapons to characters so by having one "light" and one "heavy" weapon then it makes it easier to balance rather than giving two fast and light weapons that let you get off quick damage and run away before your opponent can do anything to do
It's truly unfortunate that the Street Fighter crossover doesn't happen now, because Chun Li isn't going to have light leg attacks, like she should. Plus the more you look, this is just actual SF Chun Li in Brawlhalla, they got the rapid kicks, the upward spinning bird kick and all of that. Like c'mon, this weapon is created to taunt Chun Li's existance lol.
I was going to say that I doubt that an anime character would be added but then I remembered that this is the game the crossovered with both WWE and rayman
The NSig for the tester bot when playing Battle Boots actually has Chun Li’s gauntlet NSig lol. Obviously just a placeholder, but it’s a nice Easter egg.
At first I thought they were going to be too similar to gauntlets to really change up the game or be fun, but once I saw the gameplay I was swayed in the opposite direction. I thought about how cool kick-based or leg oriented martial art characters in animes and games I've played are, and I realized these boots would add another fun, active input weapon into the game and is sure to bring cool new characters. I can't wait to see the crazy gameplay, strings, and combos this new weapon has to offer in the future, I'm especially exited to see some of the regular moves combo-ed with future character sigs.
Would be amazing if they add a sonic character and have a sega collab. Can easily see sonic, shadow, tails, and knuckles being a part of brawlhalla. Sonic could be a new character and be equipped with gauntlets and the boots, shadow can have orb and blasters, tails would have lance and blasters, knuckles would be gauntlets and probably axe or hammer. Could fit their characters pretty well tbh. Sonic would be a high speed high dex, character, shadow a high damage, mid dex character, tails an all - around character, and knuckles a high defense high power character.
They can even add silver (my personal favorite) with Orb, and Gauntlets. He would focus more on stationary sigs, so letting the attack move while he stays in place to represent his telekinesis, (think of Jiros ghost sig with scythe, or Zariels side sig with gauntlets)
@@saccodiriso8881 Maybe lol. That would also be fun but we all know Cannon is the best weapon in Brawlhalla. And I swear to god if someone mentions scythe-
Yk what would be crazy? Let’s say they made Brawlhalla 2, but you gave you options to customize your own character, with different clothes and stuff like that. Also, pick what weapons and give you a base amount of points to spend on the stats you want. I think that would be cool asf. And they could fit micro transactions in there somehow😐
ngl i wanna see this being paired with orb or gauntlets since orb dair is a bicycle kick (maybe like a soccer player legend in the future), if not and it ends up being paired with gauntlets then probably a very bulky hard hitting legend would be very fitting.
I mean, i know they wont do this, but imagine being able to use both weapons simultaneously, like boots and gauntlets. Or sword and blasters (Though only have one blaster). That'd make some nice content
@@bernaduu266 a game mode sounds a little too small for something that would require a full revamp of the game's combat system. But if they want to go small (if they ever do this) it might be a good route.
