Bridge area looks amazing Lord Al, worth all the hard work you put in. Like the idea of led lighting to show it off. All the best mate. Brian @ The Angels
Bridges look great especially with that new background, job well done. I bet you was more worried about your shed roof with those storms! Anyway all seems well look forward to your next update.
Wow, m'lord... that was shocking storm, no doubt! We had some crazy weather and wind a couple weeks back, but not like that. Just glad to hear you all came through it none the worse for wear! Anyhow... loving the bridges and it just takes your grand layout up another big notch! Well done! Great trains to show it all off, too! Just brilliant to see, and always good to see you!
Enjoyed your video Al & ‘Lav update’. 😂 Don’t worry abt what others say regarding the background noise of the running locos. Remember, you can’t please everyone all of the time.
Hi Allan…. Hope you and the family are well. You’re right, that supposedly weaker storm turned out to be worse than the one before. What a pleasant surprise it was to see the three of us in that photograph. A nice gift from Peter at Delph Jnc. See you soon…. Steve …R7R
Thank you Steve ..if you get in touch with him he`s got one for you. He was asking for your address to witch i don`t have. get in touch though his channel and may be e-mail him.
Nice bridge parapets, bet you're glad I suggested purchasing them. Allan, for the first time in ages since I've followed your channel, you have left me with a big cheerful grin stuck to my face. I have to admit the Pullman coaches go well with the Big Boy. Most of all, I enjoyed listening to the wonderful sounds your beautiful 9F was making as she worked hard. The Ore Wagons suit her to a t, as that's what a 9F would haul in BR Days. I have two new coaches in my rolling stock collection: an Intercity Mk. 1 brake coach and a Chocolate & Cream Mk. 2 Buffet Car. The Intercity brake coach came from ebay, while the Buffet Car was my last purchase from Hattons. Also from ebay, I have a Hornby Thomas the Tank Engine snowplough, which I fitted on to my Bachmann Thomas. He's not too happy, but he's putting up with it.
So pleased your happy with the updates and you like the bridges and it sounds like you have some lovely coaches . And a big thank you for watching Kelly.
I nearly wet myself whilst listening to the first part of your video about Lord Al's lavvy and yes in Dover Kent we copped the winds, it moved my 70mm high concrete windmill about 25mm and snapped one of its sails off. The dam thing is a job to lift so proves how strong the wind was and I had buckets of water on the garden furniture to prevent them from being blown about but they were moved a little. Being DC I wish I had sound (over 40 diesel/electric trains too expensive to convert) and it annoys me when people complain, they neither turn their sound down or switch off. Number one rule applies so tough, many thanks for sharing and by the way your bridges look great take care Barry..😄👍
Hey Allan great update. Love to see you laughing made me laugh also. As for those that feel the constant need to complain, I could not agree with you more when yous say 'Get a grip!' personally I love to hear the loco's chuffing around etc. The bridges look fantastic also well done on them.
Nice work on the bridge mate. I just bought a Class 52 from Dapol and the GBRF Class 92 from Accurascale. Looking forward to reviewing those models in due course.
Hello Lord Al. and Barbara. Those storms didn't sound very enjoyable, glad no damaged happened. Glad you liked the canvas picture, nice one of the 3 of us. Loved the s T shirt. Great bit of fun. Bridge looks superb Allan. The blue extension at the end fits in brilliantly. Wow that back scene is fantastic. Hey 4 of my favourite locos going round on your lovely layout, big boy, 9f, 66 and a gronk. What more could you ask for. Thanks Al. Great vlog buddy. Stay safe. Pete.
Excellent lord Al. If the shitters full you'd best get one of the servants to empty it 😂 great job know yhe bridges the colour looks absolutely perfect. I was near your neck of the woods last week birdwatching on hhe dee estuary cheers Andy
Hi Allan, Should the shirt have been brown!!! but love the bridges and the two tone color scheme works great and with the Biggest North American loco and the next biggest Uk engine running across its just a super picture and l like a lot the siver painted brake levers on the open wagons well done so put on the Marigolds and get emptying all those lavs (then the shirt may well be brown!!!). Cheers Robert.
No no no you can't run a big boy with pullman coaches you will anger the rivert gods😅😂😂😂😂 Impressive bridge section I like its very viewable Great job Lord. And so you should be cuffed with it Be good mister😊
Full is ok, an overflowing $hitter is a little more tricky and I have had the pleasure a few times lol. Bridges look great and the DCC sound is spot on. Now, roll on the summer.
Very nice bridges my Lord Alan. The blue one stands out the most. I know it is the right colour, But I think it would look better if it was painted in the same colours as the others. You don't have to send me a Lav, as I have made one for you. It was in a video on Jenny Kirk's Monday Club. Before you became a Lord. You are sitting in there reading the Sun newspaper open on page 3. Martin. (Thailand).
The bridges look excellent, and the sound quality is perfect. The workmen obviously kept to the project deadline. Will the iron ore train be heading all the way across to Tony North Eastern?
Yes the work on the Bridges was opened on time and under budget. Not sure about the Iron trucks there more North wales Steel works than up on the tyne. Any way thank you for watching..
Rain and wind in Wales unheard of, we got of lighter this side, Garage roof still on. Lol, Locos sound good /I know the new chips have a lot more with the cv you can do with the sound FX.
only when the price is right . 66s half price and some rolling stock at less than half price. but as a company they were shit . They sacked my granddaughter who worked there for 6 months by E-Mail on a friday afternoon. when i did the tour there it was a shit hole .No house keeping at all crap all over the place. And for second hand goods a complete rip off. i saw what goes on behind the scenes. not good .
@@dragon-junction-MK2 sorry to hear that , i had no idea they sacked your granddaughter. I know the prices they were asking for 2nd hand stuff was a joke. A lot of the 2nd hand stuff was only fit for the bin.
Oh M'Lordship. a weather review, toilet troubles and so much more. lol As usual mate, very entertaining and highly recommended viewing. Now that Accuracscale are offering a lifetime warranty maybe they will fix the toilets? Worth an ask at least :) I think the next UK storm should be named "Fiery Alan" Stay safe my friend
Darrenbury Central You could use n gauge workmen on the pilon as they are small it would look like ther are a long way away on the pilon arms. Tatty bi😊 15:31
Now you tell me...LOL. Just bought 00 guys today for the Job. LOL. Any way it will be an other week yet or so more parts on order to come. But dam good idea ill look into that next week . ill do some research on it ...Top Man for the idea.
I am presently in Southern California and we have had huge amounts of rain and wind as you might have seen on the news. so much that the Amtrak Surfliner and Metrolinx trains have been halted after a landslide. This is a huge inconvenience who travel between LA and San Diego but they have been running freight. They won’t take the liability of running passenger trains. This is disappointing as I was hoping to take a ride on it. I made a video of it and posted it yesterday on my channel. The bridges are terrific, are they kits or did you scratch build them? I know Barrie Davies wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea but do you have an update? Any news about Chambs123? What camera are you using Al ? regards Charlie The layout looks great
Hi Charlie. The bridges are kits my local model shop makes them as for barry davies no idea how he is not seen or heard of since he took his channel down again. And the camera i use is a Sony HD Video Camera mostly. Pass on Chambs 123 don`t follow . Thanks for watching.
Hi Alan. The bridges look great. Just wondering l notice Barrie Davis has not been on for a while now. I hope he is ok as he is missed. Take care Basil.
I may be in a minority? but, the dcc sound is "cacophonous & monotonous", my dechipped analogue B12s "scratbox" tender chuffer finally fell off, thank god😁 You got lucky with the storm/s, no trampoline through the train set😰 Bridges paint jobs look good, as you say they open the vista up👍👍 Thought I'd miss the old bridge, gone but not forgotten🥲 Brilliant idea about the pylon👏👏👍👍 Oh, one last thing, are you saying the lavvys come preloaded🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣🙄
As soon as you put the 9F sound on I couldn't hear what you were saying. I had to give up about 2/3 of the way through the video, I didn't watch any more of it.
