NEW BROKEN SUPPORT HERO 7.36C - Abuse For Free MMR - Dota 2 Hoodwink Guide 

You dont need acorn shot on alt cast to create a tree. Alt cast just makes sure it always create a tree regardless of where you click. You can target hero and create a tree with alt cast turned off, but if you click too close to the hero it will target and not create tree. There is also a sound Q for ulti when its fully charged. you dont need to look at the channel number.

I think Speeed single handidly shapes NA meta lol, whenever I watch a video people start spamming those heroes shortly after

You can be charging the ult first and then acorn shot and bushwack while charging to get max damage. Obviously they have to be in range already. Can also use Gleipnir while charging ult.

11:18 could have thrown the blood grenade too, 50+15 a tick is so strong early-mid game. The slow is really good too but I’ve had the grenade tick people down plenty of times where I would not have gotten them otherwise. Works great with venom/corrosion if you’re melee.

I love nuking creep waves with hoodwink too 😆, the acorn bouncing and the coins clinking is music to my ears 🤣, after that is the ping of my carry 😳

I started playing dota again after many years and I got from crusader 1 to legend pretty much only playing hoodwink 4/5. Now I'm legend 4 and I think you are right about getting atos first. I almost always go maelstrom first but it is greedy and you have to do it at low mmr if your cores are not farming well.

before this video my archon 2 buddy is now legend 4 and he's been a hoodwink spammer

I really like ring of bast into tranq boots, then lens into glep. The cast range and mana from lens makes the hero feel so much better imo

Still good to create a tree even with losing a single bounce a lot of the time, since your stun won't have one always handy and it's a little vision for you and blocks some of theirs, not a tonne but sometimes it's enough.

Never should have been added to the game. Probably one of the worst visually designed heroes with the most obnoxious feature creep. Spammable black hole, great escape with a sniper break. The worst part is that everyone who plays them thinks they are nice with it when the hero has always been busted. It's the same vibe I get from dark willow turbo players. Plus the bans never go through. I hate and love dota but hate hoodwink more.

your hoodwink gameplay is kinda cringe. granted you’re a better player than i’ll ever be but id recommend people watching to rlly learn the hero rather than just playing like he does. you should almost always charge ultimate before using stuns.

The hero is not crazy and has its downs as well. Firstly the hero is so good it barely ever pasts over the 50% win rate at any skill (only at Divine it has 50.6%, all rest are under 50%). Then having a pos 5 farming and not building any escape items mean you actually don't have a 5. You only have a nuker that can function well in certain circumstances, like being able to accurately choose what target to hit and not have anything else nearby that would potentially break the combo, like creeps or other heroes breaking ult line. There are a lot of reasons the game was won, starting from the fact that enemy lost lane from pick phase, 2 melee heroes vs 2 ranged, 1 ranged being tanky and the other one having decent damage and control/escape. Their only chance to get a kill would have been beast rush you, but then again, monkey doesn't have much to add and hood can technically slow/bind both enemies at same time. Just as in low MMR, enemies kept feeding bot, monkey was not only kind of afk tree dancing but also feeding bot, like jumping alone into you at min 6, then again min and on and on and all over again. Simple feeding while having less tools, less damage and much lower level, pure 0 MMR plays. Clock is not a tanky hero, not at min 10, not at min 20 (1500 HP + blademail), not at min 30 (1726 HP + blademail + lotus), you have 2 heroes with armor debuff + a mid that mainly did magic damage on him (Shuriken Toss). The game was so bad that enemies never build any aura items when they needed and you ended build no aura items simply because it wasn't needed. Zeus lost mid and still decides to go shard + dragon lance. I mean you have 2 melee heroes that feed, a clock that can't tank (but somehow gets kills) and your only solution to try turn the game is go zeus auto attack ? vs 2 support heroes that will almost always build Gleipnir. As a loosing team, again, not 1 single escape item. Feel free to see the game and tell me I am wrong, game ID 7813673037.

Id love some free mmr but I doubt it will happen cuz I get some really interesting individuals in my games, a gentleman who wished everyone cancer and a balkan man screaming "jebem vam pičku" startling me and making me miss a hookshot. Theres a lot to getting mmr and a lot is out of our control haha

What can you do as a support if your cores SUCKa5s. You cant win solo.....what to then then? Lose mmr from game to game until you get some cores that can really win a game.

Every hero is "brokennn" and "insaaaane". Dude is cringe at this point. Also, hood's laning phase was never bad.

HW is the definition of a glass cannon, does so much damage but boy, if someone sends a wet fart in your general direction then you are dead.

Quick note: There is a "locking" sound when the ult reaches 2.5/ max damage output

if you look at the base damage and movement speed hoodwink already a broken support even without skill 1 she can trade and win again pos 4 even pos 3 in this meta so it is recomended to pick this hero as support... look at 4:03 see how fast she is when moving to pull the creep some support have a hard time to do that either the attack animation so slow or the movement speed were slow, hoodwink didnt even need boots to be that fast....

This game is unplayable,last 5 matches every match avg 1450XPM 20/5/20 and every is lost.I play pudge but teammates dont want to work together im every game there is 2minimum griefers and yes im in guardian and can't rank up...

as an avid hoodwink player i highly disagree with the facet choice here. i think due to hoodwinks ability to scale taking the other facet allows you to really turn online during the mid game and late game. nonetheless if you’re a good hoodwink and understand the hero you have no need for a bounce on a tree. it’s better to secure a ranged creep and have acorn bounce on the enemy offlane 2-3 times depending on bounces.
