Jenkins, you're totally wrong about Magnus. Reverse reverse polarity, with Spirit Breaker, you know, playing to like, skewering them into the fountain, is really good!
Man the editing in this is amazing. The tooltips being shown, then faded between them back and forth as he is talking about them. Then the quick ones like the Meepo and CM jokes, and the facet names and explanations overlaid. I hope the editing keeps up because it elevates this higher than Jenkins shoulder press PRs.
I've played maybe 20 visage games in low immortal, the hero is incredibily strong because of so many shadow buffs noone knows about apparently. You can now recall birds like a bear, which means that tp boots and tping around in general are much better. Familiars can cast stone form even while stunned, and this really saves you against aoe control, for example one game I was blink echoed but my familiars still interrupted the fissure. Also familiars are leveled up automatically without resummoning them. the only problem is his incapability to do dmg and survive if most lanes are lost. You dont farm fast and trying to splitpush vs heroes that have already finished their timings, maybe a blink or bkb or orchid etc.. becomes impossible. also he's kinda bad in 2 v 1 scenarios, you can only go for solo kills. The Q facet is amazing, considering most times you would use it on a wave or a creep camp you hit between 2 and 4 more targets, which means you Q is always 50% better than before at least. the speed buff is espcially relevant.
I disagree with not farming fast... If you are decent at micro, you can send your familiars to mid lane and get last hits there while grave chilling camps in jungle (not griefing your carry in the process). Most of the time I opt for Vlads/Aghs so when there's an encounter, I back out, heal up on a camp or 2, then Silent Grave to get a pick off while theyre still low. It works wonders...
I can't believe having double jump facet and a few buffs shot Pango not just back up into viability but also top tier when he was in the shitter after being nerfed so hard into the ground patches ago.
I still don't get the Echo Sabre Pango build, it just seems so whatever. Double Jump feels great during the laning phase but after it it feels like a dead facet compared to how damn good Thunderbolt feels during late game teamfights, especially not doing Diffu anymore, I can't chase anyone during early rotations without it, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
@arkaua the initial hit of swashbuckle procs echo but doesn't place it on cd, so you can swashbuckle, then hit with echo after, then double jump. With attack damage scaling due to all his spells having attack damage components now, he's putting universal items like aghs to good use. The aghs swashbuckle in the roll also procs echo, so it's an all around good item for him. Gives him mana pool and regen, valuable stats.
Thank you, thank you so much for making this video. I am currently redoing the All Hero Challenge and couldn't figure out QOP. It took me 9 games and I usually am decent with her. The secret is to go for the damage talent. The spell reflection isn't so bad when compared to the bonus amplification. I noticed the spell lifesteal isn't that great to warrant being so close to the enemy heroes. With QOP, your survivability comes from having lots of fast burst damage and being able to escape quickly. I think more people will play with that facet in the coming months.
Qop shit tier Jenkins drunk while making this. It's at least A tier. Facet masochist self dmg so that's y people buy dagon to heal back. 1k spell dmg without ulti definitely strong. Just like people use mask madness, take more dmg but it's worth for att spd. I'm not even midlaner but when i have to play mid, i pick qop & it's so ez to play bcoz dmg so high.
Yup strong facet, even just kaya sange is good you blink on people oneshot and if they hit you, they get hit by reflect damage. The facet feels really good to me
Masochist QoP is actually very powerful, when you go Kaya first people just do not expect how much burst you can do with 25% Spell Amplification(might even get lucky with early spell amp neutral), your E starts one shotting waves, R does even more insane damage. It snowballs from there pretty early on. Does it work every match? Hell no. But it's definitely not shit tier. It's not so bad late game either I've got couple games with Masochist QoP I won after 60 minutes. Ideally you want Dagon 5, Refresher, a Kaya variant, Hex. It provides insane amount of control with 2x hex and crazy AoE damage. In fact some games you can even go Agha+Bloodstone and play it as a tanky mid. I would put it at high C personally.
I agree 100% I've been going first item dagon and at level 7 you have around 800 magic damage burst with scream and dagon and also have a aoe 400 pure damage nuke. If you max blink and scream it's pretty easy to snowball as you can kill almost any hero that's not full health. The dagon spell life steal helps to deal with the self damage and you can dagon a neutral creep to instantly kill it and it heals you for over half your health. She does have trouble if you fall behind but I don't think it's that bad
It has potential, but the problem with that facet is that you cant use your ult with multiple heroes, wich you normaly want. Trying that facet in a turbo game (I know, but i wanted to try it out first) I was 20/7 had bloodstone and still died to my own ult against the entire team
@@joelhaupt1795 i'm not sure what you are talking about. the reflected damage is 20% and just dagon gives you 15% spell lifesteal, you can go demo it right now and use sonic wave on 5 heroes, it will barely do any damage to you as long as you have a spell lifesteal item, whatever was killing you wasn't your own damage reflection
To be fair i was affected by Vessel. But i still think the downside is to big, you have to buy lifesteal to not kill yourself, with 15% lifesteal you can heal almost to full with 1 good ult, or with a good scepter Q. With this facet you get lifesteal to compensate for your own self damage. Like i said, it has potential but i think it needs a little upgrade to make it more viable. Also laining with that facet is a bitch.... On another notice, i recomend buying magic resistance because it reduces the selfdamage of Q and E
Wait, since when does QoP have 2 facets with downsides? I'm pretty sure the first facet just gives you spell lifesteal with no drawbacks. Hell, I just checked and I'm not seeing any negatives to it other than the fact you need to be up close to increase the lifesteal, but you still get a respectable amount from ranged. It's not a great facet, but by no means a Bristleback type situation.
@@ondrakostka2 Yeah but it still an upside, its old qop with spell lifesteal in meele range. Plus its usefull if you have a meele carry hiting you, you can ult them wich pushes them away and heals you
I played qop vs sf and it was indeeds hitty experience but how is pango in A tier? How does he imagine Pango midlaning vs SF ? He gets close - he gets coiled, he gets slowed, he dies. Whats the point ?
im sad bcs there is no rubick. He became good laner overall, good damage scaling with level, good counter aggression, with ulti he gets extra good because of all the facets. Even his win rate went above 50% once(first time in the rubick history btw). But he heavily depends good skills still and needs skilled player. I wouldnt put him S tier but he is solid A-B tier. Even if you didnt win, rubick is so much fun hero to play new facets you can choose depending on enemy pick (not a lot of aoe skills go for mana, if not otherwise) spell amp gives him base attack damage (1% spell amp = 1% base damage) if your opponent is really hard to telekinesis under tower, get passive and outharass him and get all the creeps. some nulls and phylactery worked good for me. experiment depending on enemy pick. bcs of good attack damage you can steal attack damage dependent skills like acorn shot of hoodwink or boundless strike and ulti of MK. Yasha kaya does this skills dirty ^_^ Over all great video, ill take notes for my future games.
As a Visage player I will never even consider trying that facet... If they wanted to make an easy-to-play facet on complx 3 hero, they should've just swaped ult for a new simpler spell. Very bad design
The biggest nerf to timbersaw in the latest patch are the changes to reactive armor and lategame that he does not have a second chakram at lvl 25 talent, the talent with tree damage for q is very situational and not good when you push highground or defend highground since there are not that many trees, without the second chakram he does not have enough lategame damage additionally a lot of items he used have just been nerfed (octarine, shroud)
Storm is amazing late game..... however he gets slaughtered by most range mid laners pretty easily. Plus if you ever buy 2 meteor hammers and think youre doing something good cuz jenkins said.... plz dont. EMBER NEEDS A NERF PLEASE! Thank GOD Witch doctor was nerfed so we dont gotta see that stupid heal radiance crap anymore.
tinker core is dead. You totally disregarded the change of his talents. Not having aoe laser sucks balls in terms of farming. You have march but its way slower than aoe laser which he had at lv 15. Not having a strong dispell while also nerfing arcane blink made it worse. One of it was enough for a nerf, now not only u get killed by any stun or hex but at higher level when u got some farm and lv 18 pre-nerf you could blink after each rearm and laser. Now you have 2 seconds of down time before u can reposition again. The fact that no pro player plays tinker tells u everything, he was played 7 times in 8k+ avg mmr games, the patch dropped one week ago, let that sink in
Hitting razes is easier than hitting a good ult, and sf is all about his ult now (Mid-late) so in my opinion he's more skillful than before. I get you can blink and bkb and cast it in like, .5 seconds or something with Y&K and 25 talent, but it's not some mindless Viper level of play.
Can’t believe that my boy Ember is finally in S tier. I don’t even remember the time when he was in A tier or higher (except mageslayer 7.35b mistake). I dont think that it’s because of how good gleipnir is right now. His counerpicks are not in the meta, and some of them are not even counterpicks anymore
Never seen such a hot take on qop, most people think shes one of the best rn, maso + voodoo mask is almost enough to offset the damage you take so then its just a hero with 15% spell amp really early on, seems like a poking kinda meta and she is born to poke as well, even tiny doesnt really do toss avalanche much, he just does 900 damage toss and keeps back to see when he can jump on someone low enough. OD is not a low tier, dk isnt a low tier, ld isn't too bad. Primal is underrated then the rest looks ok. Oh and timber just isn't a mid, you like maxing Q+W on him but you cant use either very effectively on mid lane, gets bullied out by basically any hero if you do that build and if you go armor you kinda offset the benefit of having mid xp cos your burst is about as good as had you stomped the offlane. probably missed some there, not seen any batrider so hard to say for him
Ember spirit - mega F Hot garbage hero acts mostly like a support, cant do anything even with 500-1000 damage from fists (desolator + daedalus) unless your team has infinite control in fights
@@shinmanalo3800 quas exort. Max exort and only skill quas when you can’t, skill quas ONLY to level 4 (double forged), I only start taking wex at level 8-9. Start items are 2 branches, farie fire, 2 circlets, tangos. Then I go wraith band into bracer, skip boots into midas, then pick up brown boots, witch blade, pike, bkb, shard, then the items change depending on the game, sometimes I go aghs refresh, sometimes parasma, sometimes other defense items. all up to you from there.
My girl qop was done dirty 😢 but now she is quite good if you pick masochist, max E and buy dagon (some players at d2pt even tend to max it out before buying any other items) and this build allows you to burst your enemies to death with a ton of damage
I mean those heroes is best heroes for win a game or laning? i mean cause nowadays ppl just pick strong midlaners in laning phase , like OD, dk, lina, huskar and dazzle in C really? they counters ember tiny even TA
Jenkins knows jack shit about Invoker, noted. For anyone interested, Invoker Elitist facet is basically just better in every regard, if you are a veteran player, Agnostic comes in play when new/learning/not maining since the bonuses are pasive at all times. Innate gives you free XP, EMP shard is still good, all cooldowns got reduced, is still universal, basically Invoker players are very happy this patch compared to the previous.
He's worse as you can see by the lowered winrate, laning got buffed and everything else nerfed. Agnostic is good if u are vs lone druid as exort or something and the + dmg will let you survive lane.
Grand master invoker I disagree with this alot Agnostic turns into into a lane dominator and a right clicker Very easy to sit in lane with exort and deny creeps with forge spirit with agnostic + bracer / stats, or if you're going wex the added attack speed over MS can really bully certain lanes where you just sit the emp'ing their mana and harassing them with RC's tornado and cold snap Elitest is alot better for rotations or when your team has alot of magic damage (the exort amp works for your whole team not just you) elitest with a parasma is insane, but I don't think one is significantly better than the other at all
Jenkins, you're totally wrong about Magnus. Reverse reverse polarity, with Spirit Breaker, you know, playing to like, skewering them into the fountain, is really good!

Viperrrrrrr IS a straightforward kind of design or boring as you called it but I really enjoy getting to Q key press instead of mouse click it's oddly satisfying. Toggles are old and fun.
I get it that this was a huge patch but valve needs to change those heroes who got crap facets or moved the old hero style to facet. Similar to the talents patch they should be fixed eventually. They just wanted to change ALL heroes but kind of lazy changes to some heroes.
Am I missing something? QOP feels very strong right now. The self damage is negligible because you have the spell lifesteal to balance it the other way. You never really deal any actual damage to yourself
I think lesh is a little better. also the 7.36 aoe reduction to q wasn't really a nerf bc of the passive. the q is pretty massive with 1 item that involves the big int item like sheep, windwaker, or arcane blink
Visage is very good pos4 now, with DS. and Ember is extremely good so yes... Pick Visage, don't pick noob talent, control birds, AOE Q is very strong by itself. 20:38 funny I have just played Lesh, DESTROYED Zeus mid at one point almost 2 lvl ahead, still lost the game... it just falls off, and it was PA that would just delete me and I have killed her 2 times.... Umm, now when I think about it, how did she recover? Will watch replay, I remember player was angry he was talking on that other ABC... 22:50 Guys Pengo is pos1 now, read his stuff, just go RAW DMG!!! He is very strong, don't get that, is it 15 talent? When you get stronger, barrier? Just go as much DMG as possible. Well, you have to get AGS and harpoon. I have new ember build, it is still testing in 5-6k, and it works very well, just need more time to ummmm to figure it out the build order. It will get stolen on my main acc for sure, that is what pros fkn do, that's why I hate em :p
Yep, PA is reported...... Why do people are using that only crit stuff? He watches the camp that he is farming and his hero jump by itself on hero and crits 3 times, but it do it smart first blink then slows... mb q was on CD.... Hope next mass ban is coming soon.
I've been spamming Arc and Meepo and they feel super strong right now. I still prefer More Meepos in pubs, but maybe I haven't experimented with Pack Rat enough.
Kunkka is goated. My mate refuses to go anything but tidebringer rapier build and it owns... sometimes, not that often, quite rarely, actually, but when it works, its a sight to behold.
I'm low Div on Aus server so my experience is worth as much as a fleeting drop of piss in the vast ocean but I've been doing Tidebringer Kunkka mid just with like the old builds and honestly it kinda fucks. In the old days there was this hood -> heart build and since there's so much puck and qop and storm going around if you can get kunkka into those matchups you can do Eternal Shroud -> Heart and it FUCKS.
Jenkins missed silencer, this mf can counter any mid game, he own my ass pretty hard when I was Ember Spirit. I literally bought 3 items for surviving: windwaker, bkb, arcane blink and still dying in silence. I did insane micro, but first time in entire 5 years of playing I have experienced a despair, like there is nothing I can do to this right click mf.
jenkins. because of your NP video I now have to play 100 single draft wins... thanks. Even winning most games, team will still report because they are so mad that I proved them wrong and ended solo while the enemies were pushing our hg.
Hey jenkins I’m 4k and spam NS mid with 70+% wr nobody talks about NS mid and quite frankly he was broken pre c patch. I hope people would talk about it more
Jenkins, you're totally wrong about Magnus. Reverse reverse polarity, with Spirit Breaker, you know, playing to like, skewering them into the fountain, is really good!(2)
QoP masochist spell damage is barely noticeable most of the time. If you grab a early Dagon the spell lifesteal from it almost negates the self damage anyway. I’ve been really enjoying QoP, although it’s probably not as good as the other top tier midlanders. But she feels better than the last couple patches.
I guess the reason why Jenkins didn't include Monkey King, Faceless Void, Sniper, Marci is that they're all carries in mid so imagine they're all probably A tier-ish.
I remember when facet 50AOE increase on Necro, I had heart + Agha + Rad, I got chain CC from enemy and they focus my teammate first then suddenly 1 enemy died from my aura dmg, sadist regen kick-in then snowball into another one and another one, I literally kill entire enemy team while cced for like 5-6 sec. I remember the last one was in fog maybe 1000+ range away from my hero. I know Necro is not powerful/easier to counter/cant do much in fight but he is my safe pick, at least I won't wreck early game.
Jenkins, you're really wrong about Magnus. Reverse reverse Polarity, with Spirit Breaker, you know, playing to like, skewering them into the fountain, it's really good!
I appreciate the youtubers' attempt to keep the attention on how broken visage is low but unfortunately, with a solid 53%+ wr in every bracket, I think the nerf hammer is inevitable.
How about monkey king ? where would you place it ? I would argue its S tier, as it dominates all S tier mids listed here, and does not rly have that bad matchups
I would also like to add how, say, “A-S” is Pugna. Her talent with 25% healing from the ward + blast, which both controls heroes and towers, will help you quickly demolish the tower and make a quick gank on the 6th.
Jenkins, if you could I would appreciate some techies mid in the next tier list. Even if you put them in their own tier of not even being real just seeming them on the screen would be appreciated. Cheers
great, right at the end ( because didn't watch the beginning or mid of the video.... I mean.... who cares ) the final "ta-dah" you blocked Ember out :)
I actually do think RRP is not bad against save lineups. Push the target into team, push oracle/sd etc away and stun them, kill the isolated core. I also did see saberlight use it to decent success in one of the bald qualifiers against a lifestealer, he would get pushed too far from creeps and allies to get infest off when he got rp’d in lane.
