You make it so easy to imagine what fragrances smell like with your detailed descriptions and accompanying images. I appreciate that so much because I am still learning about fragrance notes and finding out what I like. Thanks so much.
Brunello Cucinelli uses high quality fabrics in his clothing range. He is a philanthropist and donates a relatively high percentage of the profits to various charities.
I am a big fan on the brand, lucky to live by an outlet of theirs. They his makes the clothing somewhat affordable. Will definitely by a bottle when it becomes available. Thanks for the great review.
Cant wait to try it the pour homne. Huge fan of the Brunello Cucinelli suits and their leather jackets! Brunelli"s style is simple and classic - I would imagine that was the concept behind these fragrances, as opposed to having an exclusive line of fragrances. Their line of clothes at the boutique are also limted to a few pieces on display, and maybe that concept carries to the fragrances as well??
Thanks for this review, Sebastian! I’m interested to get my nose on both of these whenever they are launched in the US. There is a Cucinelli boutique near me in Texas, so hopefully they will have them soon!
Love the sound of the pour femme, the brand got the best people in for their launch and of course as an entry level product they played it safe. Perhaps the pricing will be tweaked and the accessibility will improve as the fragrance hits the world market 😊
I love Olivier Cresp. They both sound amazing! I appreciate your videos and content and don’t know how you consistently film like you do, with the research you do, and just wanted to say you are amazing! ❤
Since youre an expert of perfumes: Could you name an alternative parfume or dupe for this brunello cucinelli scent (pour homme)? Just because I love it, but it lasts only for 2 hours...
Nothing close but since it features Cypress why don't you try Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Parfum. It's highly concentrated and lasts longer than the BCPH! :)
I got a sample from GQ magazine. The one for women there is a similar scent from other perfume brand. I just can’t remember which brand of perfume. Maybe you know because you’re The Perfume Guy.
I worked at Bergdorf Goodman and I used to love the Brunello Cucielli boutique on the 6th floor. I decided to gift myself a BC dress during one of their sales. You will not believe when I tell you that it was a piece of crap that came undone after the second time I wore it. I was so disappointed. But I am stubborn and and decided I needed another BC dress which I bought at about 70% off and I still paid over $300. Again, the stitching came undone. Nothing about that brand is worth the price, not even on an 80%off discount.
It’s probably the most expensive RTW brand in the world.. particularly on the menswear side. Sits usually just above Tom Ford, Loro Piana etc. All handmade on the Cuccinelli estate, Italy. These fragrances are about the cheapest thing they produce.. when a leather shearling jacket can be $10k.
Excuse me! Why do brands feel like they can wrack up the prices so high.. their loss to be honest. Even if it smells pleasant/decent with okay longevity, i don't see why many brands push up the price so high. If its an extrait or parfum then fine, if not then i dont get it ..
Fun fact: his personal signature scent has been Azzaro Pour Homme for decades. He never wanted to try a different fragrance, because he felt this particular scent to be the only scent to complement his presence.
@@cityslacker6221 Brunello Cucinelli was interviewed by an Italian podcaster about his business empire. Then the host touched on fragrance. Brunello cut him short and said ‘for the past thirty years I only wore Azzaro Pour Homme.’ He deliberately didn’t want to explore a variety of scents, as he liked his signature perfume and wanted people to associate this scent with him. This may also explain why he never ventured into fragrance before 2023.
