I am proud of you. I just received the letter from the student loan company that said all my student loans have been cleared and paid off. They said in the weeks to come that the credit burro will be notified. I almost did not believe it. But when the second letter came confirming it I was in tears.

So excited for you to get your new home!!! Seeing your business grow over time and accomplish your dreams is so inspiring. When I grow up, I'm 55, lol, I want to be like you! Driven, hard working, helping others, living in abundance. You rock! I set up a home office in my house. But I don't have a computer, or a phone holder to start shooting videos. One day... maybe I'll figure out where to start. I've set up a sinking fund for a computer and an iPad.

You could call the utility companies and ask what the historical costs were for the house previously if it's not a new construction. That might help you with estimating how much you will end up paying in the future and kind of budget and plan accordingly.

You will need to ask your lender if you can make weekly/bi-weekly payments e5c. Some won't allow you to do that because they lose $$ on the interest. Also any extra $$ over the monthly payment you have to specifically allocate to principal. Also be prepared for your mortgage to go up due to increase in property taxes. Even if your escrow is short and you pay the shortage in cash, mortgage company will still increase your mortgage for the difference and that can happen each year. Case in point I am in Texas as well and when I bought my home 7 years ago my mortgage was $1,150 and with rising property taxes I now pay $1,654 a month.

Jasmine u are about the most sweetest woman I follow. I have seen a lot of your videos and I have made a few purchases from your shop. All the products I have picked up are awesome. I have your 100 envelope binder I love love love it I did purchase the 26 week challenge envelope with the tracker another love item. And I just made a purchase the saving challenge wallet that comes with the book. I have no debt so that why I keep ordering but I need to stop because I have all I need to build my bank account my emergency fund and for 2024 I have a huge goal And that’s to save 100,000 and I going to trying and do this in about 4 to 7 years. I been doing these saving challenges about 3 years now, it’s how I got myself out of credit card debt. Now I’m building up a saving account saving down for a home for me and my family . U are so motivating to watch I watch as many of your new videos your old Videos i just love to save. Keep doing what u do because u helping so many.

Congratulations!!!! As new homeowner it's fun and stressful. Actually lawn furniture is best to buy in Fall. Business are getting ready for Fall, so like right now some stuff 70% off. Don't sleep on estate sales. I got brand new LG washer and dryer for half cost at store. I have homeowner insurance to cover. Definitely living in Texas make sure you have good sprinkler system, drainage system, and gutters!!!! I live TX and learned hard way. Good luck and Congrats again!!! 🎉🎉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Fellow hot tub owner here; you may want to do a sinking fund for chemicals and maintenance. Mortgage paid off, but, I still do a sinking fund in HYSA for property taxes… if you escrow your property taxes, plan on an increase every year… you can afford it, but, it was a shock to my budget every year when the mortgage payment went up every year.

I am so grateful for this video because I legit was a little confused doing some stuff. I had to whiteout a few things and I was like what in the world. At least I am fully prepared when I do Novembers budget next month. I can’t wait to get to the point where I can actually do my budget a month ahead instead of the weekend when I get paid. Also you always look beautiful but today you looked beautiful and surrounded by a sense of calmness and peace if that makes any sense.

Our home insurance deductible is 1.5% of the value of the home. Congrats for everything!!! It is amazing at how you've grown and have become so successful!! So happy for you! If you're far enough out, you might also think about getting Starlink.

bi-weekly means every two weeks and twice a week; however, semi-weekly only means twice a week :) not in a know-it-all kind of way, just like I love words and researching them :) love your videos !! & I get paid semi-monthly (twice a month) and at first I thought it was going to be the same as bi-weekly and I was quickly humbled LOL

If you would like to save money on appliances buy the washer and dryer BOSE. I had mine for 15yrs and never needed to call a repair company. The dryer Final stop working. So I got rid of both and bought a set of Samsung and regret it because that washer had a recall. After 6 months of purchase. Ughhhhh Good luck and thank you for all the amazing budget info.

Jazmine, FYI, Amazon has Prime Day is October 10th and 11th. Congrats on your new home. BTW, my understanding is that bi-weekly can be used for both, every two-weeks and twice a week. That generally semiweekly means twice a week.

Jaz- I don't know if you've talked to LuLu - but they do offer to do a bulk buy for less than the print on demand - try them out. I use them for POD book sales, but if I ever decide to ship from home, they offer that deeper discount for bulk. OR - if you buy a binding machine - you might be able to have the printing done and bind yourself if that helps the price.

Congratulations on your new home! I.have State Farm for my home owners insurance and my deductible is $1k. When I had Nationwide it was $1k. You will also get a multi-policy discount if your car and home owner policies are with the same company.

The home insurance deducible also depends on the coverages some mortgage companies don't like when you go above 10k on averge people go between $500 to $5000 also depends on if you need wind and hail coverages or flood insurance you may need to have 2 deducible funds or 3 .

Hey girl why don't you wait on hottub to get your Pool estimate. It may be cheaper as inground. That's what my brother did.🎉Congrats as well girlie! I just purchased in June, get a goooood inspection. I have 15K in my home emergency fund I would say do 30K instead of 25K.

Sorry that your vendor sent you a substandard product. I appreciate your efforts to send out a good product. I do wish the cover was a thin laminated plastic because it weighs so much. I almost put a second order in for the small pink binder because it is so much more manageable and pretty, but that would defeat the purpose of me and my budgeting efforts. I’m trying to be disciplined and you are certainly a role model for that! ❤
