Stumbled across this and as a Lumix user myself I can point out a couple of things. Use a shutter speed that's double your frame-rate. I:E If you're filming at 30fps, use 60 shutter speed, if you're shooting 24fps use 48/50 shutter speed. That obviously makes the image too bright at times, so darken it using the aperture or iso, and make sure its not automatic since you don't want your brightness adjusting mid-shot. I wouldn't recommend using automatic white balance (cloudy and or daylight work the best). Lastly, if you can, shoot at a setting where the contrast and sharpness isn't already baked in, aka a "flat profile," I think most Lumix cameras have them. I'd do 4K30 or 24 to save space. Best of luck my man, nice camera!
Usually if I'm filming with a DSLR, I put it into scene mode on the dial. It increases the range of focus and makes the colors slightly more vibrant. Also to double check your focus, zoom in on the screen. If the image is blurry, adjust the manual focus to where the zoomed in image is clearer. If the zoomed in image is clear, then the normal footage should be clearer.
