Good video man! Do you know how to take the back strap off the new models don’t have a pin but the Manuel says pop out the pin lol

Have an old Canik TP 9 sa great trigger / flawless my favorite range pistol. Converted my Kimber son... Glock son will never change.

Thanks for sharing! I know the canik trigger is amazing even on other models and this one is surely the best I’ve felt at least. I agree that in order for me to fully respect and use the gun it must work! Canik is a brand that has cost effective tools that put the higher end guns to shame in my opinion. I have fired this and will be posting a range report of the first shots to come. To me it outperforms the gen5 Glock 19 I just picked up.

It really is, I measured the trigger pounds at break and it is 4lb other caniks I have around are at 5.5-6 lb . The new mete pro models really do give you a good gun for the money. Not sure if you switched the mag release yet but it was a little bit of a pain until I got surgical forceps out.

Caniks are like pringles, once you pop you can’t stop. They are just reliable good shooters.

@jackierobinson1351 Nice! Im looking to buy my first gun. Im choosing between mete sf and sft pro. Do you think the sft pro is a big and worthy upgrade from mete sf? And their size, is it a big difference ? I want a good all around gun that I can conceal sometimes. I hope you see this. Thanks a lot!

@@vanillaoud9861 for conceal carry the mete sf would be a better option. It's more compact. The sft pro is full size gun but a worthy upgrade and is more for range use and competition shooting.

@@vanillaoud9861 im sorry this response is so late. my 2 cents is just do you need a threaded barrel? the sft is nice but i honestly dont carry it or see myself carrying it other that range trips.

Canik definitely makes a firearm that is feature packed. How is the tti combat?

If you own the rival I would not get this as well. To be honest I actually took this to the gun store and traded it in on the echelon a while back. Caniks are great and if you have the rival just stick with that. It’s a great gun.

When I purchased mine it did have the tape and serial number on it and the chamber flag was clean. Wouldn’t hurt for you to ask though. If you’re paying for new , I’d expect new.

@@RandoWayne Thanks for the response I greatly appreciate it. It was busy as hell yesterday at the store and when the employee took it out of the case and handed it to me I’m pretty sure the tags were off of it. And he didn’t tear them off himself. I didn’t think anything of it until last night and it’s bothering me. The receipt says no returns or exchanges sales final. But since I did not take possession of the gun yet, I wonder if they’ll make an exception. I already did pay for it though and they logged in the serial number so I’m not sure I have to wait until Tuesday to find out. Thanks again.

@@keithm7117 if you did not legally purchase yet like perform the background check or paperwork then I would hope they would work with you. I mean if you feel you are buying a new gun then you deserve a new gun! I know at my local shop they will ensure its new and if not they will get me one in if I am wanting new. now used is used so we know what we are getting and they never have tried to sell something used as new.

@@RandoWayne I already did the paperwork and background check. And paid for it. But since I haven’t taken possession of it I’m just going to ask and see first like you said. Just odd it was missing. This is my 3rd Canik. All my others had the tape on the guard. I’ll see what they say tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks again.
