Yep, I noticed that too, still, it's an ongoing experiment and up to now I think it's doing really well, the other thing to consider of course, is how are you listening to it, as some headphones have quite a different playback tone. I think perhaps there are mic/headphone combinations that would work really well, and others that would just make it sound terrible. I use Sennheiser HD 280 Pros' and have just tried a Samson SR350 headphone that's like £30 here in the UK, and I can't believe how good they are for binaural, I've still got to wear them a little more often to see if I could swap them for the 280's for a little time, but I'll be experimenting when I get the time.
