I have a black 2011 SE This is the best car I've ever bought. I bought it for 900$ 86,000mi and had it for 3 years and I haven't had to change anything major just breaks, a belt that a rock popped in, reg. Oil changes, normal maintenance and a couple light bulbs and now about to get a tune up.. I've traveled to 3 states and traveled statewide. Hands down best ever. This car is perfect, I just wish it was a standard shift not automatic but it's still my baby ❤ I love it
Ohh man. Bringing back all good memories. Since the the day I picked it up in 2013 sold it a year and a half ago. Awesome car no problems and unbelievable in snow. 2 feet of snow no problem. 3 feet of snow if it's fluffy like a walk in the park. Lots of power at any speed.
Haha you indirectly took my advice to get a Fusion. Man, what an upgrade over your old cars. This has everything! Nav, backup camera, parking sensors, xm radio, auto headlights, auto climate, heated seats, blind spot monitoring.
You got a great car there! I had one that was a 2010 sport fwd traded it in with 135k miles for a 2017 sport. I had 0 issues with both of them. What I wasn’t a fan of was how small the fuel tank was in the 2010 and yours is smaller since it’s awd.
I've got the same car, only it's red. Just got her paid off and only 34,000 miles on it. No issues with her over 4 years. Check that, there was a leaking gasket on differential underneath. Warranty covered it. I love the 260+ horses and the ride. While not a hot rod, it's a great compromise between sportiness and practicality. Nice upload, my friend!
Makes me miss my fusion. this is the exact one i would get if i was to get another fusion though. no more manual fusion for me, though only auto and v6 if i got one again. i do like manual but not in the fusion again
My fave gen Fusion! This is the one I'd get too because it has the Aisin 6-speed auto which is more reliable than the 6F35 or whatever it was called, the one paired with the 2.5L and 3.0L engines.
that's sharp as hell I had a 2012 fusion se but had 4 cylinder it surge all the time I red on the transmission the 2.5 4 cyl. And 3.o liter had issues but the sport like you got didn't have any especially with all with drive I like the dual exhaust and tail on it my didn't have that the only thing I hate is the ford chyme duwed duwedo
The SPORT isn't at all like the SEL not by a far sight! The SPORT is rare! Basically a SHO Jr. And it's mechanically totally different from other Fusions. Technically it's a Taurus power plant in a souped up Fusion body
I'm from Michigan lol. I have a 2010 candy red fusion sport front wheel drive I deliver pizzas with. Makes my job fun! Mine literally is empty with features other than the sound system pwr sunroof and rear parking sensors.. Nothin like navigation heated seats or camera. Kinda crappy... Only thing I really like is the 2 tone black and red leather interior
I agree 100% my 2010 looks brand new yet I keep it looking that way and I keep it out of winter weather too! Mines silver metallic with the even more rare black leather with blue racing perforated inserts. Mine only has 24,000 miles was my Dad's car in which I bought from him after I sold my 2010 Ranger. I had to have it!!!
Lol you can change settings so it won't tell you what station you're on. You gotta play with all the settings in the car, navi and all. I have a 2012 fusion sport awd in electric blue with every option available for the year. I bought it in August 2014 and still have it. Love it! Its a great car, very reliable. Had only a power steering issue covered by extended warranty that I bought and well worth it. Gonna drive this car to the ground. Has 101k miles. I put 60k of those.. hope you're still enjoying.
Love the car. 17mpg seems low. Lead foot issues? Do you still have the car? I’m curious how it’s aged for you. I just bought the same car minus Nav and AWD. Same color even. The guy I bought it from pampered, so it literally looks like yours right now even though it has 108,000 miles and this is 2021. I would say it’s in mint condition. The leather seats look fantastic in it and the paint has held up very well.
I actually sold it like six months after I made this video. I sold it because rear ended somebody with the fusion and my insurance premium doubled. Was a cool car, I actually own a 2012 SEL now :)
Taye T. Akinde I mean if you like it and are getting a good deal that’s all that matters. The interior build quality is much nicer than the current fusion. I actually sold that fusion about two yeas ago due to high insurance costs. Was a great car while I had it.
nuhstawlgia Even with the tune it still wouldn’t be. This car is naturally aspirated so a tune won’t do much other than play with throttle response thus making it seem faster.
The fusions with the 3.5L don’t use the same trans as the 4 cylinders and 3.0 engines. If your experiencing issues with your trans, I’d recommend selling it ASAP!
I'm looking into a Subaru now, I've had lots of issues with my fusion which is a shame cause it's got good power and the aesthetic is great but to put it short super fun to drive on the highway but I'm afraid to even go too heavy on the gas from a red light because it feels like I'm hauling a boat behind me then the juice kicks in after everyone's pissed cause I can't launch from the light lol not to mention even on the highway once you get your RPMS up it feels like it slips sometimes then catches itself. my time has come to move on ;)
