Cannot wait for all of the Christmas decor videos. With those fancy hooks though, I think the simple end you use to hooks it to the tree, but the bell or ornament itself supposed to be lower, advanced to the fancy part. I have those hooks for a while. Maybe it doesn’t matter 🌺🌼🌸

Excited to see some traditional Christmas decor this year! I love those hooks, I use them for all my ornaments, however, the part your closing around the bell is what hooks to the tree branch.
I use those hooks also myself. After watching this video I thought to myself maybe I have been using the hooks wrong all this time. Glad to know I have been using them right. 😊
Cute idea with the Hot Cocoa Bar 🎁 Think a cute Christmas placemat would look festive underneather the cocoa/treat jars. All the DIY Christmas decor turned out beautiful!

I’m honestly happy this wasn’t a crazy decorating Christmas video… ( I get why y’all have to though) & I understand why you said in a video that the fall stuff was coming down so you could enjoy your home before Xmas decor!! Love the simplicity of things so far. ❤
Beautiful! I have a little tip that might be helpful in the future. When separating picks,instead of clipping each branch, try removing/unwrapping the floral tape that is holding all the stems together. Sometimes this will give you longer stems to work with. Not always...but sometimes. I love all of you decorations!
Loved the nativity spray painted in the chalk paint. The item you painted black for the base of your tree is called a tree ‘Collar’. All things you DIY’d look GREAT! Love your new home and the Organic Modern beauty of the style, decor and look you’ve added.
Wow! Everything turned out so beautifully. I love the deep red bows and the way they look on the wreaths. Love all the bells. The berries even look good in the basket tray. Savie makes a mean hot cocoa.
We bought our first house in July and I thought my lack of holiday spirit was just because I was growing older.. turns out I just needed to call a place my own to get it back! So excited to diy some decorations 🥰
OK I have to be honest I was like NOoooooooo!! Not you too! I’m not ready for Christmas Thanksgiving hasn’t come yet, but I can handle this doing a little DIY prep for Christmas. Loved it loved how you showed how you were going to decorate all the little decorations that you did but my favorite part 😊 you got it, right The Cocoa bar! And of course she’s gonna like the Starbucks, hot cocoa, mom she loves to drink coffee you do not lol!!! I’m sure it will feel more like Christmas in your neck of the woods in Oklahoma before it will our here in South Texas. I guess I’m kinda ready for the holidays. They are coming lol.😊
Loving Savy is requesting some traditional Christmas colors. I know color isn’t your thing, but I think if you choose the rights items you will be amazed. Just saw a bedroom beautifully decorated for the holidays in neutrals with a dark evergreen accents…loved so refreshing and welcoming. Waiting to see how color comes to Ashley’s this year.

Hi Ashley! What great ideas you had today. I ordered some wood twig candle holders that were supposed to be white but the came in silver. I am going to try painting them with the MH chalk paint. You may want to look for something more festive for your cocoa bar to sit on...just a suggestion.

It’s good to see you use a little pop of red. I know you get overwhelmed with colour. My best tips are go with green velvet ribbons and red berries. Everything else can be neutral etc. when you cut those berries a good tip is to leave 2/ 3 on the original branch so it’s easier to put through your tree or wreath. You could cut them later. you can sprays literally a lot of statues or angles ornaments if they’re in a colour that’s not your aesthetic. Love your pare back decorating style.
I agree. She could have used all her old ornaments and just add red berries and maybe some type of green ribbon whether velvet or chiffon to hang the bells on the tree. Then it won't be so overwhelming for her since we know in the past she puts out color in one video and it disappeared in the next. Lol 😊

Sis, get a small spray tent for spray painting indoors. The paint particles stay in the air for at least three hours 😮. Also any matte paint will also cover like chalk paint and will be dollars cheaper. Love everything you did!❤️
I'm sorry, I have to: it's nooks and crannies (not nicks). Everything is very pretty, simple and elegant. I'm not sure what your Hobby Lobby is carrying, but mine has tons of beatiful wreaths to choose from that are the farthest thing from cheap looking and they are all 50% off.
Love and ice wanted a tree "barrier" also for a few years they're so expensive. But this year I randomly was like omg the living room types are phasing out. They're all in this big chunky wicker basket very similar to the original look of yours just larger. And darker. But I'm going to spray paint it. Because I haven't got my tree in it. Yes my tree wax up a month ago its black so we halloween 🎃 decorate first
Hi Ashley, just a tip that helps me from year to year is that I keep a Xmas file. I make notes of what I need to get or what items I should replace when Xmas is over. When Nov 1st of the following year comes I get out my file and know exactly what to do. I also have a type of electrical map, lol, that makes putting up Xmas lights in the backyard a breeze! I want you to know how much you have helped me grow as a homeowner. I have no creative bone in my body, but watching your videos. I have learned how to look at something and picture it in my house. I never considered painting something to make it fit. I am a true ‘matchy matchy’ person because I don’t know how to coordinate colors. You have transformed the way I shop for my home. I’m over 60 and never thought I could learn something new. I wish you and your family the best holidays.
Love it all! Have u tried the rub and buff on the bells to tone down the gold on the bells 🔔?! I know your like me and the gold is kinda yellow or maybe just the camera? Just a suggestion but everything looks beautiful as always ❤
Your wreaths turned out really nice! Very high-end looking! I know you normally don’t use a lot of color, but I know whatever you do will turn out really beautiful!
You could’ve bought you some cinnamon, scented pinecones, and put them in the wreaths. That way you could have a nice scent along with the prettiness of the pinecones.

Ashley, you can make cocoa with white chocolate. White chocolate is not chocolate, it is a confectionary. I have actually made cocoa with with chocolate. Susie

I can't wait to see your red and green tree. I got rid of all my old Christmas stuff and i'm looking to redo my home. I would have never thought of spraying something and giving it a new look great idea. Ashley you're so appreciate the realness of who you are, Feels like you're sitting with a group of friends encouraging and giving ideas My daughter LA doesn't Cocoa bar, but my son and her home have the beautiful space for it. I can't do it at my house, but it's fun to enjoy. So I'm going to have her watch your video for some great ideas. My one tree is still that sentimental tree from ornaments from all the years. I will say 1 year. I want a pretty tree and not the ornaments. So maybe I will do 2 trees.
