Thank you for watching. There are four ways the ground can be prepared for wheat after corn. 1. Lime and fertilize and no-till the wheat seed. 2. Lime and fertilize and run a vertical tillage tool to chop and mix the residue with the soil and seed wheat. 3. Lime and mix fertilizer and wheat seed in a spreader and broadcast it on the field and then disk it in with a packer in tow to firm the surface of the field. 4. Lime and fertile then disk deep to bury the stalks and Harrow to smooth the field and then seed. You will see WKY farm’s do any of these four options. Some will do some notill and some tillage depending on the field. I see all four options yield about the same. Tillage does help prevent Disease carry over to the wheat crop. As far as the way to pronounce Claas goes it must be a North American annunciation as the marketing manager for Claas says the name the same way I do. Maybe it’s like plowing in the United States and ploughing in England???

Thank you for starting your day with BTP. Yes the corn head snaps the ear off the plant and crunches up the stalk. Mainly only the ear of corn is going in the combine. Good question. I might make a video on that.

I have a cab ride along video in the way that will talk about yield and moisture. This corn was going to the farm’s grain bins. They have a GSI drier system. Here in WKY the corn ground is planted to winter wheat so the harvest takes place now to get the field ready for the next crop. The corn is planted in March do it is ready to go.

Thank you for watching. There are 36 blades on the header. There are sensors in the combine to alert the operator if something is not running correctly.

I'd take a good guess and say if one would break the vibration would let you know pretty fast regardless of sensors

@@JoshuaSmith-xw6jp I'd take a good guess and say a machine this big and heavy, you may not feel any vibration unless you get some major damage. If just the tips snap there may be smooth sailing and only irregular cutting. Just saying, big heavy machines don't always vibrate. Machines of this size have to be built with durability, longevity and heavy duty in mind. Vibrations may not occur. Just guessing.

@@spliceoncharlie yeah maybe you're right. I don't know either. But I do know a truck tractor is pretty damn big and heavy and if you break a fan blade on them you definitely know it immediately!! It will shake that 80,000 lbs so bad to the point that you cannot drive it at all and God forbid you're driving when it happens, you can't get pulled over and stop fast enough! But that's a little different than what we're talking about so who knows. Good talking to you

@@JoshuaSmith-xw6jp I agree 1000%, that those fan blades cause vibrations and noise since they are much much bigger. Had a clutch on a fan go bad and WOW!!!! What a mess and what a noise and an instant shut down. Luckily I had just enough speed and space to coast off the road and safely out of traffic. Those blades on the corn header are small so not sure you will feel any vibration unless you get some major damage. What I thought of when they raised that corn header and saw all those blades was a horror movie and someone getting chopped by those things.

Pretty good. I did a cab ride along and saw 225 up to 283 in the passes I was on.

ashwani chouksey The combine will fold the hopper on the top in and clear power lines. All lines in the USA are required to be 14’ 6” or more so the combine will clear.

The power lines are not a problem in this field. They are at least twice as tall as the combine. Thank you for watching.

I do. It matches the rest of the CLAAS line up. The yellow machines are cool but the CLAAS colors stand out too.

It's a CLAAS bro

Lexions are pretty well known for being corn eaters. In terms of power combined with fuel efficiency, it's honestly hard to beat CLAAS combines in general.

It’s a beast. It unloads the corn at 5.1 bu per second.

Johnny as I read your comment I am ridding in the Claas 7500TT with the marketing manger of Claas North America for Lexion combines. He appears in this video talking about the corn head and has been with the company for 21 years. He says Claas the same way I do. He has told me I am saying the brand name correctly. Big Tractor Power was the most watched Agriculture Channel in North America in August and July 2019 and the second most watched channel in May and June. At the time of this reply the channel has had 5 million views in 30 days and 17 million minutes watched in 30 days. I do my very best to present informative videos. This video is the first video on RU-vid featuring the new 7500TT and 12-30C corn head with direct information from a Claas company official on its details. To say it is a horrible video seems to be a bit far fetched even if the name was off which it is not. There is no where else to see this harvesting team in North America today. If I make a mistake I am happy for viewers to say you messed up and it helps me correct it for next time. In this case I have it from a top person that I am saying the brand correctly.
