I do predict codexes in release schedule 'pairs' for Winter 2025 and Spring 2025. For instance Space Wolves & Thousand Sons, Imperial Guard/Catachans & Death Guard, Imperial & Chaos Knights, Blood Angels & World Eaters maybe?

A couple Inquisitors and all 4 Assassins got removed from the Agents of the Imperium section of the web store, and the Deathwatch combat patrol is listed as sold out. Looks like Deathwatch is getting merged into Agents of the Imperium.
ya astra militarum and World eaters got the shaft big time, at the end of the edition. i think bare minimum GW should release all codexes 1 year before the edition changes!
@@WarHammerMan Indeed! But GW should finish the actual edition! Many astra militarum characters from the 8th edition were removed and there are several new ones appeared, but these are not available in the latest codex. When will the 11th edition appear?
Standard GW BS about how if they release too much information they will hurt sales of their things. Moment Skaventide officially releases they will go back to 40k stuff
Agents have had a resurgence and can be made into a faction without detachment. It’s likely going to be that. Really hoping they don’t short end the gaurd like they did in 9th.
they are already a faction. the codex will likely be agents/deathwatch, and they will have detachments for taking agents with requisition forces, as well as a standard deathwatch army, at least thats my guess
Agents of the Imperium is my guess for the redacted book. Agreed that there will be a lot of power armor factions coming soon. As to when I see a new road map from GW? Won't be anytime this week or next week. They don't want to steal Age of Sigmar's thunder after all....With that in mind I wouldn't be surprised that we won't find out the redacted book till August. Isn't there a event scheduled at the end of this month...Throne of Skulls I believe.
Supposedly I heard that a lot of agents/assassins have been pulled. I’m guessing for this “secretive release” and the tabletop battles app now has agents as a faction which wasn’t selectable pre last Dataslate. Plus “redacted” for agents or GK makes sense. If GW wants to be naughty. They do a secret release and push the codex’s and models to stores and no one knew until it arrives.
Based off of the current 'reliable rumor sources', it's going to be; August: Agents of the Imperium - Deathwatch getting rolled into Agents codex, new Coteaz model. 3 'Battleforce' box sets at release w/each one themed to a specific Ordo. (ie: Ordo Xenos box w/lots of DW marines, Ordo Malleus box w/new Coteaz, etc...) Codex will supposedly have a Detachment that allows for the corresponding Chamber Militant to be included? Sept/Oct: BA launch box w/new Sang Guard + Assault Interessors + new upgrade kit w/lots of Death Co. themed bitz - new models of the Sanguinor, Astorath & Lemartes. New Sanguinary Guard, but rumored only 3 per kit? BA upgrade kit ala DA/BT kits Maybe launch them late Sept/early Oct, then full release in Jan would be my guess? 2025: - Guard launch box in Jan/Feb, full release around the same time as Dark Angels dropped this past Spring. - Imperial + Chaos Knights an easy 'throwaway' launch to slap in between bigger releases. Same for GK's + BT's. - Eldar either late Spring or a Fall release with massive model wave to finish their revamp'ed model line... rumors so far for Asurman + Baharroth + Fuegan + 'NEW' Warp Spider PL's. New kits for Swooping Hawks (rumored to be a Kill Team initial release?), Fire Dragons & Warp Spiders. Laughably, Karandras apparently was just up and forgotten altogether, so his model not on the horizon any time soon 😛 - Votann maybe the big Summer time drop? depends how big GW go with the heavily rumored Horus Heresy 'new edition' launch... *Chaos Daemons codex heavily rumored to be getting dropped entirely!!* Instead, Daemons will be added into the respective God-aligned Legion codices. ie: Khorne Daemons go into Codex World Eaters, Tzeentch Daemon into Codex Thousand Sons, etc... *IF* true, I can absolutely see GW just ignoring Chaos entirely at this point and waiting until the EC codex at the end of 10th to sort out this entire clusterfeth... either way, Chaos gets absolutely f***ed over again!! Space Wolves heavily rumored to be the *last* Loyalist Marine codex for this edition, likely launching late 2025/early 2026 alongside the return of Leman Russ + partial range update. Sticking to the 3yr edition cycle, 11th edition as of now would be launching in Summer 2026, with Orks being the heavily rumored 'antagonist' faction... (sorry Dark Eldar, you guys are the ones who deserve attention the most, but well, GW hates you almost as much as they hate Chaos players!)
I think Votann codex will be released towards the very end because there's a lot of be released and lots of new models that need to be released as well just like the Yaeger's which can be spread out throughout the year/next year. It's a pretty safe bet I would say. Like you said probably a ton of chaos and then we will see maybe Aeldari and Drukhari at some point right after.
ya i think votann will be another late codex, hopefully with a big release or two. i'd love to see a flyer, and a nice artillery piece. the army is in a good place with the yaegers! lots of power armour incoming, looking like agents/deathwatch will be announced in the next week or two!
lol GW doesnt like me enough to send me free stuff, let alone name a book after me. they hate that i'm honest, and dont just praise everything they do, like most creators, to get a free handout. i'll always keep it real, and GW will never send me stuff haha
The CSM codex was released in the Spring and EC was omitted from it, so it makes the most sense that the Emperor’s Children supplement is the redacted codex released later this year. GW needed to leave a gap between CSM and EC releases to justify the codex supplement, but I don’t think they will force EC players to wait a year or more the EC codex supplement. The Agents of Imperium codex is going to land like a shart, whenever it is released. The only way it wouldn’t be a nothing-burger is if GW released an amazing line of new AoI characters and units, but there have been no rumours or “leaks” indicating that new units coming. TBH I’d love to see new and updated Inquisitor and Assassin characters for the AoI release, which I could also use in my Imperium factions.
i think you're wrong. EC supplement is 2 datasheets. it otherwise just uses the codex... so the gap is irrelevant, but necessary either way imo. i 100% think they will make EC players wait, the same way they have waited for new models and a codex for the last 20 years. GW has been expanding out the agents of the imperium for a while now, and tried giving them a codex before. i think this makes way more sense, than rushing out the EC book, and a handful of models. The agents have a ton of new models, way more unique datasheets, and my bet is its coming next. but i hope its a complete curve ball, and we get something like dark mechanicum. but doubt it. the assassins are pretty good, but i could see them making a couple more, and expanding out the characters for AoI. either way it will be cool to see, and i'm more likely to buy EC, as i've been waiting, than i am to buy AoI, unless its including deathwatch in a single book
@@WarHammerMan Considering the release schedule of all the previous Chaos Primarch dedicated has pretty much almost always been an 'end of edition' release starting with Magnus. I do think we'll get Russ as the answer to Fulgrim since they now release the Primarches in pairs, like Mortarion and Guilliman, Angron and Lion. So Fulgrim and Russ being the two Primach releases for 10th makes sense (or Fulgrim in late 10th, Russ in 11th, to space them out).
They are 100% going to time the new daemons models with the new age of sigmar rules set. Fingers crossed its sooner than later, my Bloodthirster wants freshmeat!
ya i'd love to see some new daemon units. rumors that the daemons are going away as their own faction, and getting put in the chaos books, seems ridiculous to me. GW will never get rid of a book, its $$ out of their pocket IMO
I think the redacted codex is taking alot of work they are doing the 4th edition for age of sigmar and they pushed all the other summer codexes pretty quick giving them a big window for redacted to drop i also think they have been working on something for the marine supplements mainly blood angels and spacewolves optimistically

@WarHammerMan I think deathwatch is getting a codex as a space wolf player I domt have alot of faith in gw deathwatch has gotten done dirtier than us in 10th and that is saying something but I can't see them ignoring the faction for basically a whole year
i could see that. xenos got a lot of love, aeldari are finally in a playable condition, without being completely broken. i dont think they are in a hurry to start the whole process over again
5 very justifiable nerfs in a row, and aeldari are still good, and will do great in the new missions. GW not looking to give aeldari any love, any time soon. thats my 2 c
ya dark angels have a new codex, which just got some nice buffs, and you also need the Adeptus Astartes (space marine) codex, which is also updated. so for dark angels grabbing those two books, you're set for the next 2 years of the edition cheers
@@Waaagh40KRed yes you need the space marine codex, and then the Dark angels codex is a "codex Supplement" for the space marine codex, with additional units, and rules, for playing space marines from the dark angels faction. you need both
the only problem with that is... makes sense to take it out of the main book if the EC codex is coming now, also makes sense if its coming later. so doesnt really matter one way or the other, to why they were removed IMO
Emperor's Children will be the very last 10th Edition Codex to drop. Similar to World Eaters right at the end of 9th Edition, EC dropping late will probably have some minor changes that will give indications towards the direction of 11th Edition as a whole. Plus, new Fulgrim turning up on the scene will be the big-bad for 11th Edition.
ya i'd love to see all the current codexes being released before GW goes all in on a new book, that nobody even knows about yet. but obviously they are going with a big release of something new. trying to drive army sales, instead of book sales.
Emperor's Children would be nice but so would agents of the imperium or Death Guard. Although im worried about what GW would do with Emperor's Children as they have those " woke " companies interfering these days.
I hope to Christ that the Emperor's children isn't a full separate army. They work better if they are like how Space marine chapters work where you they get special units but still draw from the main list.
they are def going to get an entire dedicated codex. the range refresh/model kits are in the works. we got 1 of the new codex armies each edition so far. death guard, thousand sons, world eaters, now it only makes sense its emperors children this edition
@@WarHammerMan I know we are and its a mistake to do so. Each of the legions would be better off if they were just a hand full of lore specific units and then could take extra units from the core CSM list. like how the SM chapters work with the core SM list.
lol everyone says EC is coming, but i think its going to be the very end of the edition. so you should be fine... i agree it would be crazy to rush out EC, before just dropping the other chaos dedicated faction books
