I don’t like mega palettes, so when Colourpop come out with something “comparable” in a smaller size I’m happy. This one reminds me of Aurora Struck. I think it would be a perfect winter into spring palette.

I am a huge Sailor Moon fan, I named my first dog Luna and my name is literally Serena Moon since birth. It has a spot in my heart.. I bought the original palette and 2 glosses. Not a huge fan of the gloss shades and the palette became boring to me, I actually kept 6 shades (half) of 12 of the palette and decluttered it so that is saying something. HOWEVER, I kept the purple and peach shades and this new palette is WAAAYYY more up my ally / colour story preferences. I AM STOKED FOR THIS. Did they do the show justice? Maybe not.. But it's a beautiful palette and I definitely want it!

I love sailor moon, and I own a lot of the first collection (if not all of it I can’t remember…). I think this collection is a nice addition, and it’s pretty, but I just feel like with Sailor Moon they really could have done more with it. There’s so much fun character representation that could be done, so I just feel like it rides the line between hitting and missing the mark. I do think the palette and highlighters are the best part, but I also don’t feel the need to grab them. Love your review!!

Am I showing my age? What or who is Sailor Moon? Very pretty palette. Another that reminds me of cotton candy. I love the kitty cats!! The nude blotted gloss is super nice. And i like the glossy topper. Very nice finished look. Way to go, Rachel. 🩵💜🩷

Hello! It's interesting to have a review that someone who's not a sailor moon fan. In my case i really loved sailor moon, colourpop could do it better yes i think (the first packaging was out of this world) , but it's a pretty collection "so kawai", pastels and colds tons why not ! I was sceptic for the gel liners (crystal tokio) looks very pretty but i didn't if is buildable (if you got really an intense color) well, i picked almost the entire collection, except the gel liners and the pink duo for the lips (to expensive in charges to delivered to france) .... pd. Very pretty look, can u please tell me if the crystal tokio liner it's buildable to get a good pigment ? Thanks

I'm just hoping all the peachy and pinky makeup tones (that treat mature skin so well) are natural enough to not look like wearing '77 eyeliner at an '92 party, but in the future. I already cannot function without a headband, I don't need another dated style habit lol. I've been playing with pastel and light greens, I'm a big fan! I can't see myself embracing them, which stinks, because all I wanted in 87 was a palette like this, except I didn't know such formulas were possible.

Not idea what characters are they 🤷🏻‍♀️ this year we had many pastel palettes and I am 51 yrs old so it’s impossible to deal with futuristic characters every decade is being unique and I didn’t have kids so I don’t have any idea how the youth is doing or what they like them, I am a cat 🐈 lover also so I am obsessed with hello kitty, Melody, strawberry shortcake I don’t know how is the name on English 🤭 but it’s Rosita fresita in Spanish, snoopy etc I am really outdated but the eyeshadow palette is lacking of pigmentation and it’s pretty for new young teens that they just barely started to use makeup but the highlighters are pretty and the liquid lipstick also 👌🏻👍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️🇲🇽🇺🇸👋🏻

As a Sailor moon fan the palette really really let me down. The paler nude and peach shade that they put in everything takes away from it. I also wish the other Pretty Guardians were better represented like Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. There are 10 guardians and this for sure does not represent 10 Guardians. They don't even have Tuxedo Mask. It's disappointing. The packaging doesn't even have all the Guardians 😢. It's pretty but a let down.

Thank you for your in-depth-showing of the produtcs, but it just cemented my dislike of Colourpop. As a huge Sailor Moon-fan, this collections is a huge disappointment. I didn't expect much from Colourpop - they put out similar looking products like every two weeks - this is nothing special. They could have put way more effort into packaging: put the highlighters and blushes into cute compacts! Make the lipglosses like their transformation pens! Put all the colours of the Senshi into the palettes, and make one for the Inner Senshi and one for the Outer Senshi! But nooo, we got nude palette number 48156. Sorry, it's just so so so exhausting. And yes, I'm sure they could afford more expensive packaging, because I know many fans who would have eaten that up in a minute, including me.

Exactly my thoughts!! There's so many possibilities with the Sailor Moon universe and CP totally dropped the ball... twice!! At least the first collection which still wasn't great you at least had that cool shifting effect on the palette and blushes, this time it's just so lazy! I mean exactly the same packaging for the two highlighters I mean come on...
