The strangest moment is when I realize I’m watching a video of a producer share every corner of his production.. which industry does this?! Its so normal, it’s not
Im in Upstate New York, United States. Just wanted to tell you that your videos make my day!! I learn so much! And I'm just a home gardener, chicken/turkey tender lol. Its amazing what you're doing over there. Love it!! Keep up the good work! I hope corona doesn't affect you guys too much.
I always enjoy your video's they are extremely inspiring. The intro where it shows the over head footage of the farm is so beautiful. I dream of having such a beautiful and productive farm some day.
Thanks Richard! Great stuff. I'm really appreciating your content. My friend has been raving about you for years and now that I'm watching your videos I can see why! Definitely going to buy your book soon.
Thank you Mr Perkins. We are in the midst of our fall and our low temperatures are dropping to about 15°C and maximum is on average 23°C. Cant wait for the Spring in September. Well enjoy your summer.
I can’t believe you set those poles by hand with just two people. I built training courses for the military using utility poles. We always used a skid steer with an auger for the holes and set them with the machine as well. That good food is keeping you 💪🏼
Richard, I just finished my first Johnson-Su bioreactor. I’m having a small conversation with Charles Dowding about his impressions. Curious if you have opinions, impressions and how it fits with no-dig growing? It seems more suited to larger scale, inoculated, field crops. Thanks, Tim
02:37 "..Ragnar over here...he´s trying to catch spiders..." Reported just like he reported Selma´s job. Like it´s an official job/duty on his farm. This gave me a good chuckle. :D
What do you thinks for “The Biggest Little Farm” Alan the ideas of harmony... Do you thinks it’s about, okay if the whole big connected system maybe... but in small system? What do you thinks?
I have given a thumbs up but people who watch the content and find its not entertaining, educational or fun for them have the same feedback mechanism as you and they are using it. It's useful for channel owners to know what content doesn't hit with their audience, especially if they find they lose a large amount of subscribers at once. That will hurt a channel if they also have advertising so the thumbs down might seem harsh to you but it's a valuable feedback indicator that's quicker than a comment. At the same time the like button alters your video feed when you open the app or watch online. Using the thumbs down prevents more of the same type of content from this channel or others from appearing in your feed...a good thing especially if you didn't like the video content.
@@Infiniti25 i enjoy ridgedale . I watch as i do the same operation . I am a farmer. I support him and what hes doing 100 %. As for everything you wrote dont understand. Iam not here for money or conversation. just praise to King Richard. Understand.!
Yeah, I once ate 2 egg sandwiches.. hearty, sprouted bread... then cleaned mangers in our 89 stall dairy barn. little siblings were probably cleaning some too, not like i did it all myself.. but drinking cups were over the manger & cows like to play w water & drool a lot..heavy, haylage plus etc. cleanings... yeah, don't do that again !
Hi Richard have you ever tried exposing your seeds to magnetic south pole of a magnet, even though you are close to the earth's southern magnetic pole which does benefit your crops on a macro level, try it on a micro level it works a treat for better tasting and yield...
@@A21twentyone Try it yourself, put some seeds in two cups or saucer's with the south pole of a magnet under one and the north pole of a magnet under the other and marvel at natura naturans i do it to all my seeds and wow does it work
@@Infiniti25 There's nothing new under the sun as the saying goes this knowledge has been around for ever! Ken Wheeler has video's on this subject on his youtube channel, pls check him out, it really does work i've been doing it for a few years now with great success
@@regenerativeagriculture Scotland is challenging, not as much as sweeden but a possible move to one of the Shetland Islands possibly this year as a crofter with the goal to do what your doing, maybe slightly smaller and Def some protection from the intense wind and the lack of good soil there will bring some challenges. I think raised beds inside a large geodome if they ever let me put one up. And I'd be the only person growing good local food on any of the islands there. So much cheaper for locals who have to import everything and hopefully a sure fired local market desperate for my produce. Thanks for the videos Richard. I've learned a lot from guys like you, curtis, jm, Charles etc.
