Hi, just sold our townhome in Palm Beach County, were considering Treasure Coast, what are the property tax and home owners insurance up that way?

Builders says to estimate Property taxes to be 2% of the purchase price before exemptions and I see homeowners insurance on new construction to be less than $2000/year (the smaller the home/lower the price the lower the insurance can be). Depending on how long you lived in the townhome (and when you find your new home), you may have additional property tax savings with portability. How much of a down payment is typically expected for a first time home buyer? I am quite aware of the price of this home because you put it in the thumbnail, title, and description. I just need some guidance on how much I need to bring to the table

First time home buyers have access to programs that allow them to use as low as a 3.5% down payment. However many builders (compared to existing homes for sale) require a 5-10% deposit up front to start the build or reserve the home. It’s a good idea to have at least $20-25,000 saved up for down payments and closing costs for a home that is in the low $400s, but I have been able to get clients a new home with less with different builders/homes.

They have multiple under construction for sale under $450k and this area is 30-35 minutes from the beach.

No shower stall in the second bathroom by the front of the house. Odd.

They normally don't put a shower in first bathroom in a model home .they normally have offices in the house. But I am sure the one you purchase come with a full shower.

Wire racks are standard with pretty much every builder in the area

@@ragonzalezhomesWell I'm surprise because it used to be mobile homes have those cheap wire racks but now they have real wood shelves. You would think the stick built house would have better? Shocking how things are backwards. lol

@@darillfow Exactly it just doesn’t make sense that even on a $500,000 or $1m house in the area that some builders only offer the wire racks in the pantry and closets AND won’t even leave them out/remove them if you ask because you want to install wood or custom storage after the fact and don’t want the holes.
