It's like it's not quite real enough for the uncanny valley, but not stylized enough either. Trying too hard at and relying too much on facial tracking probably really is it. So remember that John at a very young age had promised a childhood friend he would marry her; we never hear from her (supposedly she might be dead or maybe not), but what if she became an Insurgent (don't forget the cheesy plot where she moves up the rank to become an important figure) and the UNSC fight against them again, except this time the Insurgents have modern technology now (which in the books it is stated they do). It's a stalemate, the UNSC and the Insurgents. The Chief fights with her in random encounters..... Okay long story short the Master Chief falls in love with her again (this time with a real human, I know!) making both to join to end the war of all wars against humans. Later you can add your 343 cheesy plot to fight a greater evil blah blah blah.

once I unlocked the quickshot upgrade I think I had more fun than I did with any other halo gameplay; the grappling hook is such a sweet mechanic. If they made a multiplayer mode where everyone gets unlimited grappling hook I would probably never play anything else.

Its an AI. Even modern day chatgpt doesnt get sassy and would understand if i insult it or tell it i will delete it. Acting sassy HAD to be programmed in, and its weird to give an important AI an quirky sassy option. I mean it has the ability to do bad things, its dangerous if its annoyed. Also, OG cortana was also ok with dying in Halo 2 without sass for example. "Dont wanna risk remote detonation, i must stay (on high charity)" So if tartarus wouldve fired the ring cortana wouldve blown the in amber clad up, resulting in the destruction of high charity and Halo 05 AND herself... Without sass, but for the mission.

I had to miss this video until I played this game for myself and I actually bought into it a bit. I felt sad when he activated the deletion sequence and overall I was very happy at the end with how they resolved it. When you get all the cores first and most of the vehicles it's a cakewalk until you get to the final boss battle where my cheeks were thoroughly clappethed.

i remember when people had doubts about this game, and turns out its actually one of the smoothest game launches last year. Unbelievable.

For the campaign it had a smooth launch the multiplayer is a shitshow as of right now. I play the multiple quite regularly and I wish to see it becomes much better than it already is
