Hey man! I been pouring for years n I use a small paint brush to coat worm oil on the rods and molds so they don't stick! Works good for me! Just drizzle oil on paint brush n coat rods!
Outfrickenstanding video Chris. This will save lots of finger injuries. My pneumatic tail cutter is at it's limits when it comes to smaller tubes. The extra money spent on the molds is well worth the stress-free process. You can do soooo much with this mold.! I'll be purchasing 4 by summertime.
The molds looking great definitely a bit easier than full dipping. I’m seriously considering getting both these molds. Also looking forward to angling AI’s larger mold for the tubes. In addition congrats to your 100,000 subscribers achievement. Always looking forward to the new videos you post.
Congratulations on 100K!!!! Your videos have been so informative and Inspiring for me personally. My beginner kit literally comes in tomorrow! My exposure to the hobby and craft is all thanks to you, keep being you and doing what you’re doing. I can’t wait to see what you do next, THANK YOU!!
What an awesome mold! I fish mini jigs for trout all year round. They are my favorite. I can't wait to place my order for both mold. Congrats on 100k. Thank you for your great videos.
That's a awesome mold. I hope they come out with a bass tube mold that works the same way. I liked the hollow shirt power one the best but that black electric chicken was also very cool.
Kind of an off topic question...Would it be more efficient to mix the plastisol in small batches using a heated beaker mixer with a magnetic mixer pill. In theory this would keep the plastic moving and heated so to prevent having to reheat multiple times. I am curious if you think the plastisol is too viscous and the pill wouldn't spin fast enough to mix. Maybe it would cause too much aeration....Just a thought and maybe you could test that out for us in a video. Just thought it might be easier than using a knife if you're mixing a lot of small batches.
Congrats on the 100k subs. Motor oil with red flake is a killer color, caught aload of crappie with that color. Tube mold is sick. Shared this video with my bait maker. He loves your channel too.
congratulations on all the subscribers. I also really appreciate your sharing of your experience with us. I have learned A LOT from you. thanks! and yes, I will be buying these molds as soon as I can.
Awesome so glad you did this bc I was gonna buy those today but wasn't sure how to do it. so I just bought a 4" paddle tail swim bait as my second ever mold to run. Keep up the good work brother,👍🏻🎣🎣
What?!? No drum roll on the 100k video? Bit of let down there and on new super cool mold release show as well. Ha! Kidding aside, Great video, great color choices and have tip my hat to AAI for that genius mold design. A jaw dropped.
Hello sir! I had some questions about crawfish molds. I am looking at getting into bait making, so i've been pouring over your content. I really like the angling ai AR craw, but i was unsure about the craw appendages. I fish with a craw that has a clean cut on the tails. Just wondering your opinion on the craw molds? Thanks for the great content as usual!
Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers. Do It Molds makes kind of the same mold but for larger tubes. Can't wait for AI to make them along with a 10 to 12" lizard.
I liked the motor oil i hope the come out with musky tubes they are big 10 inches up to 12 inches and 6 inches and 7 inches and more congratulations on 100k subscribers
Howdy Chris, kickass video and mold for sure. You said it though no video without laundry, ( Drumsticks). Even a Niel pert style would be acceptable. Keep it up Chris, love it.
What plastisol blend do you use for crappie lures? I love crappie fishing and am wanting to start making my own baits but don’t know which blends to use for what baits, your the one that got me into wanting to make my own! And congrats on the 100,000 subscribers!!
What plastisol would you recommend for grub/insect lures. I know i want it to sink but im also not sure what option to select for the sinking version on dead on plastix website. For example they have like swimbait, craw, finese and worm.
Well I ended up a day away from getting my mold in my hand BEFORE your got a video out.... I almost had you beat for a second time! You said something about a rotating bait stand, Brother you need to talk to your wife about such things. Mine told me in about 2 seconds flat to go get a rotating cake stand. Also I am REALLY hoping AI is going to release a 2.8 to 3.8 version as the small mouth here go nuts for tubes but if you can find any at all without ordering online they are musky sized.
