I finally broke down and purchased a new snow blower. The old one was 19 years old and was breaking down more and more often. I was going to fix it up again but threw in the towel and got this BEAST of a machine!
Today I'm going to unbox it and show you how to assemble it, per the manual's specifications. I am also going to start it up for the first time WITHOUT cheating and using the electric start! :-)
This is the new Cub Cadet 3x 26" snow thrower. That's right, three stage. The third stage is another impeller up front that pulls the snow into the main thrower impeller.
As of the making of this video, it hasn't snowed that much outside. On the next decent snowfall (likely next year), I will do another video showing how it does out there. I have used it on a couple inches of ice and I am extremely pleased with its performance. Be sure to subscribe so you can see the follow-up video showing it in action!
