So I was thinking. I tried the triceps kickback bow, or whatever. Love it. What about, for biceps. Hips bent at 90, row it, elbows at 90, then without decreasing elbows bend, extend hips so that you’re in midrange curl position, bend at the waist and repeat?
Hey! So grab a cable or even a band. Load elbow flexed with cable set up below you. Keeping it close at elbow start backing up while maintain isometric. Move slowly and hold position each time and see how that goes.
Good stuff. I've been wondering what part of my brachialis is causing a "double-bicep" look, and no not the pose. When I flex my biceps in the hammer position I have VERY prominent "twin peaks," almost like a camel with two humps if that makes sense. I avoided short-head bicep exercises for years like preacher curls etc. and THINK it may have contributed to an underdeveloped short-head and overdeveloped long-head?? Not sure... but I love that your videos are always so informative and I'm still learning new things after 20+ years of lifting weights.
Hey great to hear. Well imagine brachialis is always working to flex elbow since it sits “under” and attaches directly humerus to ulna. The contributions of biceps is the job of variations to help more or help less. There should be one more vid from this shoot that covers preacher option so have a look out for that!
