I hate the old handbrake, since the cable can freeze in winter. And anyway why would you do handbrake turns in a sandero? It's meant to be purely transportation.

Nice! Shame it has no auto hold on the hand brake though. I can see some people forgetting and lifting foot off the brake pedal! Anyway minor niggle at this price point. Great test drive and review as always.

A steering wheel that adjusts for reach as well as height, didn’t expect that. Very good yes. As for the CVT not being too loud, it’s not the transmission you hear, it’s the revs of the engine going up because of the way CVT works. It’s also a three cylinder, they are more vocal but think they sound better than four cylinder with CVT which tend to sound boomy unless it’s a Subaru with boxer engine.

The “L” on the gear shift stands for “Low.” What is the “L” gear used for? Low gear is used when you want the engine power high and the vehicle speed low. This limits stress on your brakes while allowing you to take advantage of your car's full power in situations like towing and hilly driving (not for overtaking or downhill!)

So 99% of people using an automatic gearbox with an L gear will use this like.. once? This seems so useless to have as a prominent feature in a gearbox...

@@leme3503 that's quite useful mate, when you are in a slow steep street or ramp, you will have to use it. Maybe not a daily feature for most, but a must have.

@@SDADanCars Do you think the CVT Dacia Sandero TCE 90 is noticeably „weaker“ than the Dacia with manual transmission? I drove one with manuel transmission and I really liked it, but at my local Dacia store, at the moment there’s just one with CVT available (that has all the furnishings and is the color that I like). They want an final decision tomorrow and now I‘m kind of lost because I‘m no mechanic and I never drove an CVT car before 👀👀 I would be very happy if you could help.

It is the perfect car (size/comfort etc.) for a little family (1 child) and no dog. If you have 2 childs or 1 child and a dog, I would recommend the Jogger or Duster. Very similar cars, but bigger.

They said it was just being loaded on a ship in Romania and was going to Morocco then uk car would be in dealership end of May , told them I wasn’t waiting that long , bad show Dacia 😮

hello! nice video! Since you have tested a lot of cars I would like to share your sincere opinion with me: i have ordered this car but due to the continuous rise in price of Dacia (at least in my country is +2000€ now) im thinking to cancel it and get a toyota yaris cross or a seat arona instead. My initial though was to select this car for the economic driving (bi-fuel) . Should i reconsider it and stay or should i pick a toyota yaris cross / seat arona etc? thank you!

I think Dacia will still have the best price vs other but if you have the money and u need economy Yaris hybrid is more economical …. And i just post a few videos with is those days 😁

Have purchased the biofuel model,was doubtful at first,but really is economic,here in Wales lpg is 79pltr,fill up once a month and I can do 235/245km.Well impressed 👍

Thanks indeed for this test drive of new Dacia Sandero Stepway 2023. I consider it very accurate, professional and impartial. I'm going to acquire such a splendid car, but I think to get some more hesitation as I also like the KIA Stonic which you did another accurate test drive about and I appreciate it very much. As for you, your final mark is 9.9 /10 for both small SUV . So, I'd like to ask you the following: sincerely ( if you like ) if you had to choose in my place one of two, which model would you acquire without any hesitation ? Thank you in advance.
