YEWWWW!!!!!!!!! just got back into the fishing scene been throwing around the light gear, looking for an upgrade as my brothers old real doesn't really do the job on big bream anymore haha. 2000 series would look so cool on my new diawa rod! Pretty much what to expect out of one of your quality reviews , well done once again! I am glad the reel has held up to your and our expectations and price point. Just came across your channel today. Loving the snappy edits and way you explain your fishing approach like a science still keep it engaging. Might be my new favourite fishing channel! Not 100% sure about the colour, probably a bit too much maroon in the red. The FC2000S still looks pretty sweet though!

Good review Byron, relaxing to watch as always!. I own a few frames LT's and on MQ Certate for SW applications I'd love the Revelry 2500s as I want to experience with some high-end fineness reels and I do love the colour as well!

Hi Byron! Awesome review as always. I love the colour I find it works well to my taste. I would love the FC MQ 3000 because of that deeper cut spool for the bigger trevally and Queen fish specimens that pull that bit more drag than say bream and flathead. Would also be very versatile as it would be a great Snapper reel as well with the red on red. Smashed that like button

Great work mate.. I had never thought to use that spot on the drag as a hook placement.. neat! Probably be looking at the 2000 size.. definitely a big fan of the colour - I know it would never be used on it but it’s similar colouring to the Seajigger which is probably my favourite rod at the moment. So good to see this beast in action, definitely agree with the drag comments I couldn’t believe how touchy my drag is on my Alvey orbiter spin reel, one click and it tightens way too fast! Big fan of the colours on the Rev FC MQ and if I had my dream come true I’d love the 2500 just for the pure versatility it would bring to the table! Thanks again for another cracking video BTH!

Honestly like you my favourite reel is the luvias so any model of that is always the reel i go for first, but after this video i need to try a rev for myself! Havent got a chance to feel the new builds with mq, but they look amazing and this video has now pushed me for the rev!

Your reviews never disappoint, always great pro's and con's in your reviews mate. The red would never be my first choice on a reel but it's never a big issue on the colour. The main reason your looking at a reel is because you want it to do a particular job so if the colour stops you from buying a particular reel you may not be getting the reel that really suits your needs and budget. The Rev 2000 would be the perfect match to my new Daiwa 20 INFEET 732LFS rigged with 6lb J Braid and 6lb Fluro leader.

After years using a Stradic these have definitely got my attention! Standout colour and they put up very impressive numbers throughout the size range. The 2000 would be a great addition as a lightweight finesse option for my lineup! Great review mate! 🎣

Awesome reviews, I appreciate the no BS approach and straight to the point content. I’ve never owned a Daiwa reel but might be tempted to get my hands on a REVELRY FC MQ 2500. As a fan of the Vanford and Stradic, the red and black always pops and looks fresh on the boat deck and in the hand.

What a beauty, I find the colour unique and individual. For me personally I like the fc 3000 for chasing flathead, Jews and small king's in my local estuary. The sound of the drag and the quality build would be such a pleasure to fish with. That lure/hook holder on the reel is a great idea, I didn't realise they had that feature. Thanks again.

As for the Revelry Colour 8/10 Im getting back into my river / estuary fishing after many years .I feel this reel would be a great starting point , looks very well made . Nice video mate, love it like you, i am also a big colour person and need my reels to look schmick and i reckon the rev looks absolutely awesome it’s different from a lot of other reels on the market and really stands out. The 2500S would be the perfect size to take to my first trip to east gippsland!

Great Video review once again with your honest opinion . I wish Daiwa had released this sooner as I purchased the infeet 732 z after seeing your review a couple of months ago. Unfortunately I paired it with the Shimano Vanford after seeing that video with the to paired together. Not something I wanted to do as I am Daiwa thru and thru but also need this to pair together. Now seeing yours with the New revelry it looks fantastic. If I were to win one I would love the FC 2000S. Keep the great videos coming.👍

Im a big fan of the colour scheme and I like how they’re putting all the high end tech into some of the cheaper reels, Daiwa is definitely the most innovative fishing company at the moment and have thought of pretty much everything in their designs. My favourite will definitely be the 3000 Hd model for some snapper and mulloway fishing.

I personally really like the red and I totally agree with the colour scheme on the Sol is not the best but do love the reel, I think the FC MQ 2500 would be the perfect fit for me and would definitely have a place on my boat, I love the content and thank again for producing great content !!

Another great review... choices galore. I love that hook retainer feature and the colour red goes sweet with my arrowz estuary rod. 2500s would be a great tool for the fishing I do... plus a replacement for my cheapo Daiwa that's on its last legs.

My dad will tell me that his Datsun 180B was the beez neez back in the day. Great vid as always, cheers, initially I wasn’t a fan of the colour, but now that you put it as the Ironman colour I all of a sudden like it. The 2500S would be my go to, I think you nailed it on having a lighter drag allows you to be more precise with your adjustments.

Always enjoy your take on bream gear and tactics. Colour scheme is eye catching, but not a main driver on my end if I am being honest. In terms of which Rev, 2000s without a doubt. Question if you wouldn't mind, is there any potential issue / risk of line damage with the bail arm being two piece over single piece? Otherwise, sounds like a pretty faultless reel to be fair. Keep the great content coming mate. Can't wait for the HB reveal / review you hinted at!

Just bought myself the new daiwa td black drunkmonkey 1-3kg rod but haven’t decided on reel for it yet. A 2000 sized Revelery would be a perfect match for chasing bream off. Also digging the colour not gonna lie. Great vid anyways man look forward to more in the future :)

Great review mate, thank you for the video. I definitely like the colour combo, and I really like the spool design as it's similar to the Luvias LT but slightly darker in colour. It also reminds me of the old Daiwa Gekkabijin ex reels with it's colour scheme, which I am also a huge fan of. I would go with the FC MQ 2500s size for my heavier spoon fishing for Trout and Perch in my local impoundments.

My younger son has started fishing with my oldest son in the rivers, and he has been asking for his own reel for ages, and what a great Christmas and present plus with the iron man theme he would love it. I’ve been told to get the 2500 size for the revelry.

Worth the wait mate. Straight through Fluro is something I’ve always been keen to try but the casting concerns have always put me off. I think I’ll take your advice and try it on a higher end reel to get the best experience. I’m sure the Revelry 2500S would do the trick nicely.

Love the look and colour of the new Revelry. I would like the 2000s to pair up with a new Millerod Teitchfreak. Killer combo for my local estuaries. 👌

Thanks for the balanced reviews as this sort of reel is expensive for me as someone trying to up my game. 2500MQFC would be my pick. The colour rocks.

I was in the market for a new ultra light setup and then you drop this vid haha I was thinking of picking up a TD black combo with the new TD Black MQ but they are still not in stores ahhhh. if I had to pick one it'd be the Revelry FC MQ 2000S

The FC MQ 2000S would have to be my go too, the red I think is awesome and would go well with my samaki zing rod and would be a good challenge for the little school mulloway getting around the coorong at the moment as well as trout and bream as always. Awesome review, keep on delivering!!

Hey Byron. Nice review! If I would be the lucky one, I would prefer the REVELRY FC MQ 2500. I am not experienced with spinning reels (I have a lever drag reel and baitcasting reel), so it would be a great opportunity for me to try it out. I think the color is nice tbh.

I’d like a 2500 as a all rounder for the type of fishing I do.colour doesn’t bother me tbh,as long as it does the job. Keep up the great work Byron 🤙🎣🐟

I was waiting for this review, totally agree it would have been nice to have the Rev match the Infeet. My pick would be a 2000, it would match nicely to my Infeet chasing some Breambos. Keep up the good work🤙🎣

As I'm also a fan of Iron Man I'm loving the colour combo, reminds me of the gekkabijin model with the same colour combo that I couldn't find in the size I wanted, so to get a 21 REVELRY FC MQ 2000S would tick that box. Great work as always and love the truth in your reviews, Kepp it up.

I've only started getting into UL so definitely the FC MQ 2000 sized reel! It's so much fun catching fish with the UL gears! The colour is great as you said it reminds me of Iron Man colour scheme!

Epic content as always!! Will be stealing your "Rev" moniker moving forward too!! The color definitely stands out and I think it'd be a great showpiece although I have mixed feelings about the black spool as it's the only major black component on the reel. I'd love to see what the Revelry FC MQ3000 feels/looks like matched with the missus' squid rod (she's a squidding junkie and this would be an awesome Christmas present for her).
