you i a goo job on my tx 103 hva,s an the tx103hsdf.the new zillion sv tw 1016sv-hl is waiting on a star drag .it fell and broke off a spoke..ordered back in Jan..4 more weeks..i,ll use it an the see if i want you to spiff it up a little..no more tournaments,,no boat all shorefishin..stay healthy and safe..
Congratulations for the video. One more subscriber. I am in doubt, between Steez SV TW or Zillion 1000. I currently have Alphas CT sv and Steez ct sv. Which one would you take? Light fishing. This Zillion 1000, which reel is in which category? I bought the new Metanium mgl 2020 71xg and don't like it. I ended up selling her. That's why I want another daiwa. I think I'm going from Zillion. @thkustom Trey, your technical review is always awesome! Last week I bought an International version of 2021 Daiwa SV TW (100XHL), because it has a brass drive gear... The worm gear has 2 bushing too. What do you think about the idea to replace it for bearings? EP, from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
What kind of oil and grease do you use? Any chance you have a link to buy or a brand name/type? I only have Reel Butter Bearing Oil on hand currently. I got a couple new reels (Tatula and Coastal SV TW) and noticed they feel a bit under-lubed. Could I use the Reel Butter bearing oil? Or should I buy whatever OEM stuff you are using? (Assuming it’s OEM) thanks in advance, Trey!
Hey Trey, do you have any advice on getting those stinking loctite'd screws out of the knobs? I've yet to find a good size flat head for the job and I don't wanna strip the heads of the screws.
I use some cheap screw driver that you can change the heads on.. Its got a thicker are to grip that gives you more torque over the small micro screw drives like the Wihas..
@@skeeterboy77 Yeah, my smaller screw drivers are fine once you get the glue to budge, but I have yet to find a small enough bit to really get into that screw. Time to go to the store! Thanks!
