Thayer David sure makes a good villain! Such an evil laugh! I guess that while Count Petofi is well, and strong, Jamison, too, is well and strong? It seems that Count Petofi has power over Barnabas, and has locked him in a coffin. Poor Barnabas!! I can't wait to see what happens next! ~Janet in Canada
I remember the hand at bottom of the stairs. I was in second grade. This show scared the bejeezus out of me! Was "Nora" in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" the nonstop gum chewer that becomes a blueberry?
In episodes 814 and 1815, Barnabas looks more human than his usual vampire self. Guess the eyeliner wasn't available that day, lol. Petofi is prepared to put on the squeeze onto Barnabas until he agrees to take him to the future. Barnabas was only half truthful to him. While it's true it had never been his intention to go to 1897 (he merely wanted to confront Quentin's ghost), he does know he got to 1897 through I Ching. Now, I know nothing good would come out of Petofi getting to 1969, but it should have been obvious to Barnabas that he was risking David's life, maybe even the whole future of the Collins family, if he didn't at least throw Petofi a bone. Telling Petofi about the I Ching certainly wouldn't guarantee that Petofi would pick the right hexagram in getting there. Tim really is getting to be overbearing and obnoxious. He was so callous to Nora. Like I've said before, I believe the hand changed his personality for the worst, it's made him drunk with greed and power.
