Thank you, I appreciate it!…yea absolutely, I’m actually in the process of moving it so it’s not on truck right now…when I remount it I’ll make a video showing what I did!
Has anyone run this Dasaita dash cam using the 12V cigarette outlet that is behind the screen on our 3rd generation Tundras , I have a 24 Tundra Limited . Probaly wont have the time to wire it up to the fuse block right now but wanna have it working when we go on vacation soon & I want to order it up on Amazon or is there a wireless dash cam out there that is just as good that you can recharge it.
There’s a setting in there that you just hit and it should flip the image…if it’s not working I would contact customer support, let me know how ya make out!
To get the wiring through the firewall grommet, are you cutting the tape on the wiring harness to fit the wire fish amongst all the wires and through the firewall into the engine bay? Or did you do it the lazy mans way and just poke a new hole through the existing grommet and fish the wire through it?
I have a 2020 tundra, does the truck have 2 fuses box ? one in the engine bay and one under the dash?if yes, which box location do I connect the wires to? Thanks
On the 2020’s they have both boxes, and you can actually use either one…just select the proper fuse that gets power like shown in video and you’re good to go!
Have you verified that the camera will record over the oldest content when the SD card is full? I had a little incident yesterday (25 October 2023) that I wanted to have a look at. The last video on the SD card was from 12 October. The camera comes on when I start the truck. If there is a setting for this, I couldn't find it. Thanks.
Hmm that’s strange!…yea absolutely, I only have a 32gb card in it so it only holds a smaller amount of data before overwriting it…I’ve reviewed it a couple times already and it’s working as it should…I know there’s that looping setting but I don’t recall any other setting to change, I’ll take a look today and see if I can find anything on why that would happen to ya!
@@NitroZ18FishingThanks very much! I will run it some more and see what happens. It did lose power once, the power wire runs under my toll transponder, and became disconnected. The camera came on every time after I reconnected it. I will have to verify that it's recording. Thanks again.
The camera keeps corrupting SD cards. I have pretty near as much in SD cards as the camera. Can you tell me specifically what SD card you are using? I have been using SanDisk. Current one is a 128 GB extreme plus. I am going to have to throw the camera away.
Wow, sorry to hear that man!…mine is still working great, let’s see if we can get this figured out for ya…first question may be a stupid one, but did ya try formatting the SD card in the camera itself? (Not in computer)
Nice! I did the Toyota OEM. It’s got good video and features but the interface/app suck. You can’t connect to it while using wireless CarPlay. Pretty much have to have the vehicle stopped and off to connect.
No prob, thanks for watching!…on this particular camera you don’t need to, and honestly I’ve never installed or used one connected to the OBD2 so I can’t really speak on that, I’m sorry!
