I am always amazed at the perfection of craftmanship that has gone into this renovation. Aladino you are a true craftsman and I wish that all tradesmen would use your ability as an example. Maya your narrations are so perfectly in tune with the process which keeps me and I hope others captured from the beginning to the end of each episode. I will probably never see the final MC2 product in real life but I look forward to every new episode watching you both cutting through the waves on this wonderful piece of perfection.

There's something about the Swiss apprenticeship program that is like no other. I have noticed it over years of working with Swiss professionals and never been able to put my finger on it. I learned a version of good enough on my first boat restoration. "The better is the enemy of the good." All those wows! and ahs! and nice jobs! with Al the perfectionist smiling in the background; it's something I expected to see - you two are more mature and maybe don't need the validation as it's obviously incredible work. Hi from Calgary. The workmanship on this project is unbelievably amazing both of you should be extremely proud. Once complete feels like it will belong in a museum a piece of art. In fact I can't even imagine launching it into the harshness of the ocean environment, and you aren't complete yet. Special recognition to Maya for the camera and editing work. It is so easy to forget about the commitment it must take to produce a weekly edition of this quality. See you next week.

I built a 27 foot plywood boat, and in a few places I had to fill damages in the bottom so I used ground garden lime with epoxy for the filler. Years later when I ripped off the fiberglass for new glass on the bottom the glass came off nicely, but the places of repair with the lime had to be ground away. This lime is dirt cheap. Test it yourself, and use it instead of silica when you can. It makes a great filler for large voids,
