Am I suppose to feel anything about that, our ancestors have been hunting animals for hundreds of years. If anything you telling me he was normal, I know a lot of people who fish & take photos too.

Police have been to his house several times, but city says it is okay to not put him in jail for anything.Typical liberal town that says crime can be ignored till something really bad happens.
It is too bad that body cam footage has not been released showing what happened. Obviously these cops were murdered in cold blood and there should be no reason to keep the details secret.

little things....a cop pushed him and he fell backwards during a traffic stop well before the shooting. This macho man was shook. Sensitive ego went unchecked and he took it out on officers later who were not involved with the stop earlier. Little things...little things.....
Depends on the narrative. If it’s a sporting rifle owned by a civilian, it’s an assault rifle. If it’s the automatic version used by police it is a patrol rifle or simply rifle. If a civilian gets killed with a BB gun, its an ar like assault looking rifle.
There are multiple angles to look at. The man, clearly had some kind of mental break, wife left him, probobly fighting for the kids, having issues with money now that he's single and can't afford to live independently. Probobly felt he had nothing to live for. The police, somehow we need to fix the Narrative of these "walk up" calls, where police just show up on a scene, you will never have a happy medium because if cops always go in shields up and guns at the ready to every call you're going to have a lot of unhappy people, but on the other end you can't have them just walk up all friendly with open arms to every call either because when stuff like this happens they're totally unprepared. The guy made a fake 911 call and lured these cops into an ambush. You should view the breakdown video on Donut Operator’s channel b/c in the video you can hear these two officers scream in terror as they are gunned down and bleed out. You can't outsmart someone who has this planned out. He wanted to kill cops. He took 2 out. This guy got kicked out a bar earlier that night with cops involved, went home with brother, him and his bro started fighting at house, the mom called the cops, then he shot his brother, walked outside with camo on hiding in bushes, and shot the cops as they walked up to the door. The neighbor saw him walk into woods with gun but never told the cops. the mother and neighbor failed to help these officers, horrible.
That's not what happened the killer called 911 to lure cops in it was an ambush the mom had no clue what was going on the brother warned the mom what he was gonna do and she didn't take it serious the brother got shot by cross fire

Cant wait for the real story to come out! The shooter was good friends with all 3 of these cops and even FB friends with all 3 and recently had his girl friend leave him for the married cop so this will get good!
Not to sound rude but I'm not sure if your information is correct, it is partly wrong from what I know the officers were not friends on his Facebook I saw that first hand myself.
