Steve, this version of the IMPERIALS is my favorite of all gospel qts since 1959 when I first heard gospel quartets. Perfection!! Thank you Steve for posting.
How times have changed. Our church used to have skating parties at the Arena for young peoples in the 60'-70's and we played Imperial records. Great memories.
Fantastic album ... Exodus and the impossible Dream are the highlights from this record in my opinion... The first has been recorded by Elvis and the imperials in jan 71 in las Vegas.... Thanks for the sharing ...Fred from Toulouse "south of France" god bless you
God is so wonderful to lead "The Imperials" to continue its faithful walk with Christ by their love and passion to serve the Lord through their music ministry. I understand that this is the first album recorded with Terry Blackwood and Roger Wiles as repacement after Jake Hess left the group because of health issue and so Gary McSpadden left as well.
The IMPS..the very best to ever step in front of a microphone in the U.S. The Centurions the first and best contemporary gospel quartet Canada had late 60's- early 70's.
Yes! Thank you for sharing and posting this incredible project! Have you The Imperials "LIVE" 1978? The Imperials "Now" from 1968? or 1969 Gospel's Alive and Well?
