As someone who loves the Dior Sauvage line having the original and all three follow up flankers. I was excited to about a new flanker but after the description I just heard, I’m going to wait and see on this one. Also, the 3.4 OZ is $200 after tax on the preorder. Yeah I’ll wait awhile on this one.

traditional arabic perfumery incorporates a lot of alcohol free creations, they've been doing it for decades, it's a cultural and religious thing. most people are used to french style alcohol based perfumery. different fundamental styles of fragrance. it didn't work well for azzaro and nautica but i think with a skilled perfumer like MFK it could maybe be done justice

I already tried Sauvage Eau Forte , is not to powerful on my skin BUT I need to say that if you spect an Acqua tic blue vibe ITS NOT. Is very woody and spicy! Not the sweet lavender trend I say it’s woodier and NOT BLUE SAUVAGE VIBE . Colleagues like it too. Thumbs up Francis .

I don’t know much alcohol free parfumerie but the Hermetica brand whole line is alcohol free, with top quality smells and pretty long-lasting. They have my favourite unisex oud on a market - Verticaloud (baccarat + oud ispahan but softened imo). Brand is more female oriented tho

I had the honor to try out the new Boss Bottled Absolu. It has some similarities to the Elixir version and the Triumph Elixir. It also reminds me of Atkinson Oud Save The King. I personally loved it!

Dior already has a woman's fragrance, Dior J'adore parfum d'eau, which is also alcohol free. My wife has it and she absolutely adores it. No milky white spots while spraying and it's also not weak (not beast mode either) so I'm quite optimistic about the new Sauvage

A great issue of Ash! ✊❤️💯 Very informative as always. Dior, of course, took the risk of continuing the Savage line with another perfumer🤔🤔, but was it unexpected? No, I don't think so. Its not an acquatic. I was lucky that one of the diors in my city had a tester of eau forte. Its not your usual lavender note (bleached lavender). The best analogy i had was if the elixir and edp had a very mellowed out child and it isnt as in ur face and fresh as a usual sauvage. It lasted a decent amount of time on my skin 8-10hours. Edit: the spice note is black pepper

Old Fashioned got me ready! I will have to go to the By Kilian store when it is released. So basically, the new Sauvage is doing what Kajal Lamar Caviar did with taking away the alcohol? If it has the same effect expect a lighter airy fresh Sauvage. We will see how the 30 something men who grew up with Sauvage will feel about a lighter fragrance.
