I hate that abuse happened to her but it begs the question "why didn't she call the police". Instead she waits years so she could sue him and get paid without him having to go to jail. This feels a little like a well orchestrated plan for a payout. It's just convenient that the video surfaces but he can't be prosecuted for this crime.
