A Simple but Overlooked Way Many New Gig Workers can Make More $$ Lets Go On a Ride Along and Put it to Use… #doordash #doordashdriver #instacartshopper
It's sad. I use to make 250-300 dollars daily. But now I can barely make 100 now. I'm learning to decline orders that are just aweful. My acceptance rate is still over 90 percent but I can see it dropping as time goes on.
- Thanks Pedro. Nice to see your acceptance rate is above 70%. I’ve also noticed that I seem to get better shop and deliver and catering orders when my acceptance rate is above 70%. A lot more higher offers with better tips.
This is simply looking at orders with a bias. I've been high and low, orders stay the same. I've had someone try and tell me the area they live in you HAVE to be above 80% otherwise you get no orders. Simply false.
Lol, nice timing after the be careful not to get deactivate video. I think only 10 % could do this juggling without the apps catching on and seeing us all over the GPS. Customers get angry also. I was accused by an Uber Eats customer of doing this and he rescinded my tip. I just do one order at a time.
Had a nervous customer call me on the way to their to their house because I stopped to collect another order. The catch? It was New Year's Eve. If customers are going to watch you like a hawk, they should understand that at any given time, the dasher could be handling more than one order. Almost certainly on a holiday.
Noticing that High Pay offer on your DD. Gotta have AR higher than 49% to get those. Im trying to get mine up there. Show us the bad orders you took to get you there. The good offers are easy to watch, but show the shiz times too.
Made $320 today in 8 hours. 120 miles. Boop boop! Top dasher. Ya get what ya give. It was a rough day with more trash than in 90s. Down to 85% acceptance rate. that’s sad!
NO WAY would I ever do that .....very frustrating and nerve racking...doing them together......no thanks...I want my sanity and plus you will be later....they track u....the picking speed
Are you in CA or anywhere with a guarantee? If not it's by the job as long as you're somewhat reasonable they don't get on you unless you have a super impatient Karen
After watching enough of your videos Pedro I too often get a garbage offer and go “Kobe! Right in the trash!” So tonight I was almost home and a DD offer came in $7 for 2.5 miles. I thought…mmm that’s not trash at all that’s actually a good order for DoorDash. So I took it and when I got to the restaurant, I saw the order was for Kobe B. Hahahaha
That would be the case in any market. The chances are slim that EVERYONE will turn it down, but if they do you will see it eventually. High priority doesn't guarantee you won't see bad orders.
I love watching this channel because I get to see a little of St Lou! I live in Indianapolis - but I was born in the Lou! Great to see the buildings in the background.
@javieracevedo9352 its what's available i personally love small quick shops it also helps you learn stores soon 20 items for $10 will be child's play low base pay is good for the guarantees along with quick small batches. At aldi you have a dd for $12 15 items for 5.5 miles ic has a $10 for 11 miles going the same way further out I personally recommend stacking it there $22 'for that hour works awesome during the slower times lunch and breakfast doesn't hit hard on the food apps like it used to anymore.
@javieracevedo9352 grind till you get to at least platinum cart I reccomend diamond to help a lot to get priority it's bc the diamond and platinum shoppers see everything even the gold get those leftovers so you're seeing whatever is left
yo are an amazing shopper then.. I have to many communications re what the store does not have and alternatives... it takes so long. do you use replace?
Dashing Portland, OR on a bicycle! I couldn't earn that much in 3 hours without a peak boost. Nice thing about being a bicycle is no long trips. No more than 3 miles but average is 1 1/2 miles. Earning potential is crazy n no gas or insurance. payments. Keep pushing!
Our market is trash I go w my husband occasionally He’s a Top Dasher part of LOP/Pizza Program and we get so much trash. Can never get above 72%. Orders like 2 shop pays going 19miles for $12 or 9 mil for $5.50🙄
I had an order to get at my local dairy queen. Got there and order wasn't ready. Had to wait 10 minutes and when it was done, employee wouldn't give me the thing unless I clicked received and started trip. What should I do next time?
I like to tell the customer I at waiting for your order, so when I do pick it up, they know it is as fresh as it they picked it up them selves. I also let DD know the order is still being prepared. . .
My understanding is that doing multiple deliveries on different platforms at the same time is a contract violation and can get you deactivated. This is why I never take orders from different platforms at the same time.
That is correct, I think instacart is less strict. Doordash really doesn't like it, and if they see you going too far in a direction that doesn’tsuit your order, they'll warn you. Just gotta be slick and smooth with it. Don't be greedy and take orders going a bunch of different directions.
I don't think there's anything in the TOS about taking orders from different platforms at the same time, just be aware of the scheduled delivery times and make sure the orders are headed in the same direction in case the customers are tracking you.
Depends. So long as you don’t take too long to “deliver” the food they really could care less. Look at moore. What got him deactivated was he would do it and would take some extra time to deliver. So that’s why they frown on it. But if you got orders going the same way and you delivered it in the window they provide they again could care less. That’s why a lot of the apps like DD and GH now start to watch you once you accept a order watch and see if your heading to the store. I’ve had that notice pop up every now and then that said it appears your not heading to the store even though I could be finishing up a order.
I had a spark order recently that was so large and the customer kept messaging me over every substitution the order time timed out and it was cancelled. I will never shop for a large order again it was insane. Lol
How do you maintain AR when you leave DD on while doing a run for another app? You can only accept a small portion of orders that may happen to go in the same area, most will be a decline that is asking for an AR tank eh?
Be careful not to get deactivation... that is some bs when they don't even give the order related for appeal...because they are totally wrong in cause...3yrs as top, and have no clue wtf they're talking about.
Any advice on how to get off the waitlist I’ve been on it for a full year for instacart and my sister just got in in a couple days we live in the same house too so it can’t be a different zone issue
I had 5 the other day the dd were smaller so one on passenger floorboard one on seat then split the others between trunk and passenger and driver backseat i suggest lay the seats down. Yes they can be big just gotta be quick and ask to put stuff in the cooler most stores are actually really nice about it.
To add foam insulated bags like your catering or gh pizza bags are WONDERFUL at keeping stuff cold for longer it's actually important in the winter more than people think bc you have heat running i also get a lot of post tips for having it bagged. Get the bag in the pic you put in chat!!!
Anything below $400 on a full day is a fail for me its been rough that's why im focusing on growing myself bs these apps. The apps are a stepping stone to help spread my positive notoriety.
Not sure what market your in to earn that nowadays everyday.. I’m in a high traffic Chicago suburb that is busy at all times and 200 in 8 hours is extremely tough to do.. I use doordash, instacart and shipt and it’s tough..
@@LoveHandlzhe lives in NY and a full day for him is probably something like 12+ hours. I saw his screenshots of earnings he works late at night too like 1am
Random question about shop and pays at Aldi. Do you guys have to pay for a shopping cart? I did a shop and pay at an Aldis in Arizona and those bastards tried to make me pay for a shopping cart. WTH is up with that???
@fourtwozero dude, I don't carry much if any cash. I wouldn't pay a quarter for my own cart... I'm not risking one for a stranger. If they give the quarter back, then why the heck even charge it?? How is this even a thing?? This sounds even more stupid than toll roads.
@@dagazrune6453 It encourages customers to put carts back in its bay. Its a good thing and keeps the parking lots clean. A quarter that you get back is worth that
@Secondliferacquet glad to see this community has a few trolls. Clearly, because someone isn't cool with stupid money sinks they should just "relax" like simply disagreeing is a crazy thing to do... 🙄
Dd just put them on the bill a reasonable amount will not cause the card to decline instacart has you put an amount in I usually overguess so I don't screw myself plus I gave extra for other stores that are cheap on bags and overload and I fix or if you have some rip. Walmart doesn't have bags here except for spark curbside so if you do shops you want a stack to take in who cares the branding customers along with using insulated cold bags will be thankful $#
@TheREAL1reacts ahhhhh I was wondering what that was about I thought they asked about paper bags. I've broke into my stash when my Aldi was waiting on a late truck and was out threw some to fellow shoppers (ic and dd)
