Your new doors look fantastic & I love the color. It was good to see Kate show up with the bunting for the entrance. What a couple of good friends you two are.
My dad was a carpenter. I always loved watching him working on projects - measuring, cutting, fitting. He's been gone a long time now and watching Ant takes me back and makes me very nostalgic. Best to you and many thanks for sharing!
Where did you learn all of your building skills? Family, school, trial and error? It seems that there aren't many young folks interested in learning these skills. Love yours and Kate's channels.
Growing up I had quite a few different jobs from farming to tyre fitting and working down a coal mine . I always found it easy to learn a new trade and now have a large skill base
Love the doors! Love the colour! Love Kate’s bunting! The cottage is stunning! I have added Northumbria to my bucket list, and a cup of tea at your cafe is a must!
The doors look great and I love the colour. The fabulous bunting from Kate really lifts the entrance. Aren't friends wonderful? I wish you lots of success and maybe one day I'll make the trip to have tea and cake by the lake. Perfect!
I really like watching you build things at your place as well as at Kate's. I didn't realize there is also a cafe there. It would be a nice place to visit.
Great job with the doors and the video! I appreciated the length, not too short, the voice-over explanations and the camera placement so we could see everything! You're getting good at this❤ 😄👍 Kate with the bunting 🎉🎉
It’s wonderful to watch the process of fixing and renewing old to functional and very attractive. I am an amateur carpenter…..meaning I’ve only done some basic things….planter boxes and such…in my 75 years. So this is quite fun!🦋Cathy in Montana USA
Greeting from Northern California. Love seeing how to make the new doors. And I love the paint colour. The picnic tables on the new gravel look smashing. Video is the perfect length and I like the voice over explaining what you were doing. Avoids the hassle of wind noise. I age with Kate and am originally from Scotland as were all my family. I have travelled the world but settled in California for the past 25+ years. My Uncle married a lass from Ashington during WWII. After living in Glasgow after the war for 20 years they moved down to Ashington when my uncle set up a carpet fitting business with his wife’s brother. From then on we would travel down once a year for a holiday. Got to know that Wooler road like the back of my hand 😁. In the mid 1980s my widowed mother moved down to Ellington to be close to her brother and I got the chance to know Northumberland a lot more. I love hearing the Geordie accent and as soon as you said “champion” took me right back. Mum died in 2006 and I haven’t been back but Kate’s videos and now yours bring me right back. Thanks Ant (and Kelly). Good luck with the cafe.
Now I know how to make sturdy doors! Wonderful job. The bunting puts everything together for the cafe. Enjoying your content from Chehalis, Washington USA
Another great video of instruction -- BRAVO!! I worry about your back -- you're still fairly young and you want to protect your body now so you don't end up with knee and back issues. Keep up the great work -- it's fun to watch.
It is looking really good. Love the green color of the wood and doors. it looks great. Really looking great, and Kate's Bunting just topped it off. Looks great. Wow, you can do anything it looks like. Done very well. 😊
Your work turned out great -looks so good and then it's great Kate made you bunting - I loved your video. You should name the common tools for city folk in case they might want to do what you are doing. 4' level , torpedo level , chop saw, impact driver , nail gun etc. size of nails and screws -because you show everything and they could do the same using your knowledge-just an idea - Peeps like to learn stuff on youtube. Great channel - keep on showing the neat stuff you are making!! The world needs more people just like you.
Just bring a couple of those trout home for dinner.😮 I do agree with others. You and your neighbors live in a beautiful area. It does remind me of country side here in WA State but your buildings are so very different! And the birds. Wow
Hi this is amazing Ants and just love watching how to transform the old doors to look new. Loved watching you on Kates Chanel so will continue to also watch you.
Hi Ant, Really enjoyed the video and nice to see Kate stop by. My husband was impressed with the fish in the other video. We are fisherpeople. Take care, great job!...Barb
My son and I put tongue and groove on the walls inside his Cabin when he first purchased it… I love the wood ,everything there is manly ha,ha I was warned…lol (no dainty curtains)
Good evening, Ant. This was awesome to watch. I have had contractors in the family but never got to go on the job and watch. I found this video very interesting.
I absolutely loved this video. The transformation with the new doors is stunning - the addition of the gravel, picnic tables .... and bunting from Kate!! We appreciate any video you put out as we know it takes more time to film while you tend to your tasks. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us. (Michigan, USA)
I love the look of your doors and also your fence to the left of the garage. I’m from Kate’s channels too. I wish you could come to Australia and work your magic at my place ! 😊 I wish you the best of luck with your channel Ant.
