Awesome piece, man. Used to have the same Caribbean dial on an older Sub 1200 and it's one of only 2 watches I've ever really regretted flipping... They're really great watches with a ton of brand cache.
Hey to give you a little info. I’ve been collecting Doxa’s for about a decade. The very first dive Doxa dive watch was the 300 with the slim case and smaller dial in the pro-orange, sharkhunter-black, searamble-silver. The 300t with a thicker case and larger dial, the one that you have here was actually released after the 300
Well Doxa stoped producing watches due to the quartz crisis and after being dormant for decades Rick morai I’m probably spelling that name wrong. He came to the Ginny family who owned the Doxa name and convinced them to start making subs in limited numbers again. This was in the early 2000’s and they had released a couple caribbean dials on very limited watches in the mid 2000’s one of them being the 750t gmt
After that I know it was used on the 1200t that came out sometime around 2016-2017. That watch was also limited. It wasn’t put into regular production until the re-release of the 300t
@@robhaley802 that’s cool ! Thanks, I want to learn more about the history of the brand and I have to get the 300 professional. I feel that’s the model most true to the original. It just wasn’t available but I do like this blue dial 😎
