I went through High School in a uniform. White or green golf shirt, green crew neck sweater, blue v-neck sweater, turtle neck, short or long sleeved button down shirts, navy blue pants or shorts and a kilt. I never felt comfortable enough to wear the short sleeved dress shirt with a kilt because of the resource teacher and the EA's fawning over how 'cute' I looked in a skirt and blouse.
It's not a uniform it's different coloured shirts and different coloured pants you have a choice of what colour you want to wear just has to look presentable
