I was born in 1982, I started watching music videos when I was 3. My dad used to record MTV and VH1 music videos for me (he was military at the time), when he went to TDY in the US. I loved everything I can remember about the 80s and never wanted those times to end.

I'm 42 and never saw NE in concert back in the day so when I was able to see them this year in Phoenix and all six were there needless to say it was amazing, I took my 17 year old son who was raised on NE and it was one of those father son moments that I will never forget, the guys put on a great show.

I hated that he was so out of control with his behavior. He was so talented. When he left, Ricky became my favorite. I love them all, though. I wish we still had groups like this!

I was born in 1968 I am old enough to remember back in the 70's and 80's when black men would sing to girls on street corners. Harmonizing and being romantic for black women and they would stay to listen. New Edition will always be legendary and the blueprint for the boy band not New Kids on the Block not N sync etc... don't get me wrong I love those bands and their soul but I am a die-hard New Edition fan and I will never let anyone talk bad about them

The members of New Edition were taken advantage of and didn't make much money off of their music. They came home from world tours with $1.50 in their pockets and went back to the projects.
